The door flew open, slamming against the wall with a deafening bang. A wave of cold air rushed in, carrying with it the scent of smoke and charred wood. You and Bakugou both snapped to attention, muscles tensing. Standing in the doorway was Dabi, his blue flames flickering dangerously around him. The cold, calculated look in his eyes made your heart race with both fear and anger.

"Time's up, heroes," Dabi said with a twisted smile, the fire in his palms growing. "The League has some plans for you both."

Beside you, Bakugou snarled behind his gag, fury radiating off him in waves. You could see his fingers twitching, itching to unleash an explosion and wipe that smirk off Dabi's face. But with both of you bound and your quirks suppressed, there was little either of you could do at the moment.

Dabi stepped closer, the flames licking at the edges of the room, casting eerie shadows on the walls. "The boss thinks you both have potential—could be valuable assets. But if you refuse to cooperate..." He trailed off, his smirk widening as the fire in his hands flared brighter. "Well, let's just say we have other uses for you."

You glared up at him, refusing to be intimidated. "You think you can break us? You're wrong."

Dabi chuckled darkly, clearly amused by your defiance. "Oh, we don't need to break you. We just need you desperate enough to give in."

Before you could respond, a deep rumbling shook the room. The walls trembled, dust falling from the ceiling as the ground beneath you shifted. You realized immediately—it wasn't just the villain suppressing your quirk earlier. The building itself was designed to dampen your connection to the earth. But something had changed. Something was giving you strength again.

Your eyes widened as you felt the pulse of the ground beneath you. The earth—though buried deep under layers of concrete—was still responding to your call. And now that the suppression was fading, it was growing stronger.

This was your chance.

You closed your eyes, focusing all your energy on the earth below. Slowly, the ground beneath your feet began to shift. You could feel the roots of distant trees stretching toward you, the stones beneath the foundation trembling in anticipation. Your quirk was coming back to life.

But you weren't the only one ready to fight.

Bakugou, sensing the shift, exploded into action. With a guttural growl, he flexed his arms, straining against the metal restraints. Sparks flew from his hands as tiny explosions burst from his palms, the heat intensifying with every second. The bindings around his wrists started to glow red-hot, melting under the pressure of his quirk.

Dabi's eyes narrowed, sensing the danger. He lifted his hand, flames roaring to life, ready to put you both back in your place.

But it was too late.

With a final surge of energy, you wrenched control of the earth beneath you. The ground cracked open, jagged stones bursting through the floor as thick roots shot upward, wrapping around the legs of the metal chair you were tied to. The roots twisted and tore at the restraints, breaking them apart in one swift motion. You were free.

Bakugou followed suit, unleashing a powerful explosion that shattered the remains of his bindings, sending sparks flying in every direction. He tore off his gag with a snarl, his crimson eyes blazing with fury. "You bastards are gonna regret this."

Dabi's flames flared, but you didn't give him a chance to act. With a wave of your hand, the roots lashed out, coiling around Dabi's ankles and pulling him off balance. The villain stumbled, but his fire didn't falter. Blue flames shot toward you, burning through the roots with ease.

But Bakugou was already on the move. With a roar, he launched himself at Dabi, explosions crackling in his hands. "You think you can take me on, you bastard?!" Bakugou yelled, slamming his palm against Dabi's chest and sending him flying back into the wall.

Dabi recovered quickly, rolling to his feet and wiping a trickle of blood from his mouth. He gave a short, menacing laugh. "Not bad, but you're gonna have to do better than that."

Before you could react, the room was suddenly filled with more villains—several low-ranking members of the League, their quirks already active. One of them, a man with glowing red eyes, charged at you, his hands raised. You barely dodged his attack, feeling the rush of air as his fists slammed into the wall behind you, shattering the stone.

Without hesitation, you summoned more roots from the ground, wrapping them around the villain's legs and yanking him to the floor. He cursed, trying to break free, but you tightened your grip, holding him in place.

Across the room, Bakugou was taking on two more villains, his hands exploding with fury as he ducked and weaved through their attacks. His movements were sharp, precise—each blast aimed with deadly accuracy. But there were too many of them, and even Bakugou was starting to get overwhelmed.

You couldn't let this go on.

Thinking quickly, you focused on the ground beneath you, drawing on the strength of the earth. The floor trembled once again as large stones erupted from the ground, forming a barrier between you and the approaching villains. It wouldn't hold them for long, but it bought you a few precious seconds.

You dashed toward Bakugou, grabbing his arm as you pulled him behind the stone barrier with you. His eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't protest.

"We need to get out of here," you said, panting slightly. "We can't fight all of them."

Bakugou clenched his fists, clearly frustrated by the idea of retreating. "Like hell I'm running from these assholes!"

"They're not after a fight," you replied, your voice urgent. "They want to capture us. We need to regroup, find the others, and come back stronger."

Bakugou gritted his teeth, clearly hating every second of this, but he gave a sharp nod. "Fine. But I'm blowing these guys to hell the second I get the chance."

With that, you both made a break for the door, dodging blasts of fire and quirk-infused attacks as you ran. The villains were in hot pursuit, but you used your control over the earth to slow them down, causing the ground to crack and shift beneath their feet.

As you and Bakugou sprinted through the dark hallways of the villain hideout, your heart pounded in your chest. The League of Villains was more dangerous than ever, and now, they had set their sights on you.

But you weren't going down without a fight.

You would survive. You would escape. And when the time came, you and Bakugou would return—stronger, smarter, and ready to take them down.

The summer camp had turned into a nightmare, but you knew one thing for sure: this was far from over.
