Ruptured, that was the only word to describe the general area that Gojo stood upon. The artificial ground which held up the city had been completely rooted, sending large and small chunks of debris; some even being vaporized entirely.
The space distorted by the application of limitless started to reform itself, appearing as if nothing had affected it previously.
Dust piled up in the scene, as the wind blew them in the direction of where the Reunion members were blasted, obscuring them.
His sight being covered up reminded Gojo of the time Sukuna threw a fire extinguisher at him in their battle, funny as hell now that he thought back at it.
His eyes narrowed as he still detected movement from within the fog, as he had already lowered his hand back to his side after firing the Red.
He had gauged their strength, deeming it necessary for explaining his technique in order to boost its power, it didn't matter if he wanted to keep it a secret anyways, it would most likely be deduced by these people.
What truly had him interested was whether they would mistake it for arts or not, Elio did back then; but he was not proficient in arts to tell the difference between that and Gojo's cursed energy.
"Hey, you look pretty banged up back there," Gojo turned his head back to the person behind him, he'd call him beard-guy for now because he doesn't know his name yet.
A grunt escaped the man's lips as he fixed his posture, "Are.. are you here to help?" What were the chances a random powerful person would suddenly appear to save his life?
"Heard those Reunion guys have slaughtered a ton of people, I think you're a pretty nice guy first impressions eh?" Gojo grinned at Ace, a grin that should've appeared warm and consulting...
But Ace couldn't help but find it unnatural. "So.. Are-ugh, are we gonna get out of here or what?" The wounds started to catch up on him, thankfully his adrenaline was still in overdrive.
Gojo contemplated, what should have been a good amount of time spent on thinking was reduced to nearly a microsecond as he decided on his next course of action.
"Grab onto my shoulder, quick." Gojo turned away from Ace as he stared straight ahead at the clearing dust, movement became more pronounced. "I think I had enough fun."
If it were Ryomen Sukuna, he would most likely kill Ace right then and there, and go play with the food that was presented in front of him, and laugh maniacally all the while doing so.
But Gojo was not Sukuna.
'Fun?' Ace couldn't help but think this guy had a screw loose, like that white haired Lupo Rhodes Island had recently recruited...
Dropping his sledgehammer to the ground, as he was missing his left arm, he grabbed Gojo on the shoulder tightly, praying he knew what he was doing.
The rumbling became louder, as the figure of Reunion became more noticeable, looking like they had better days... most likely an understatement, seeing them desperately trying to gather their bearings.
Gojo flashed one last grin at them as he could see the rapturous amount of crossbow bolts raining down from the sky, like heaven's artillery; along with arts of all kinds.
Ace's eyes widened at the sight, as he braced for impact behind Gojo's back, though, it was an unnecessary worry in Gojo's eyes.
Clap!
Before any projectile would skewer them (they wouldn't anyways), Gojo disappeared from all visible sight of the enemy, as if he had just vanished.
