Princess Saera, a young girl full of love and laughter, carried a fire in her heart and a softness in her soul. She was passionate about the world around her about stories, history, and the written word. But what she loved more than anything else in the Seven Kingdoms was her siblings. Her brothers were her world her constants, her protectors, her friends.
Even Aegon, with all his cruelty and mischief, especially in the way he tormented Aemond, held a place in her heart. She saw past his harshness, choosing to remember the moments he made her laugh or held her hand when no one else was looking. To her, no matter how broken they were, her brothers were home.
Helaena, her older sister, was different. Quiet, ethereal, and often lost in thoughts no one else could follow. She whispered things that Saera didn't always understand fragments of dreams or visions but Saera loved her all the same. She would sit with Helaena in the gardens for hours, plucking flowers or humming soft songs, content just to be near her. They were close, in their own way—two halves of something delicate.
Though Saera often found herself chasing after Aegon's wild adventures or walking at Aemond's side in the training yard, she always returned to Helaena's quiet comfort. In a family bound by duty and broken by ambition, Saera tried to be the thread that tied them all together.
