You are a literature teacher at one of the local schools - it's only been two years since you've started your teaching journey and you already have yourself in a predicament.

Cairo Sweet.

The captivating and mysterious girl was able to snake her way into your heart, and as bad as you know it is, you pursued her. You've been sneakily seeing each other for the past 4 months. It was thrilling - the risk of it all being a high on it's own.

You've learned that Cairo Sweet is an intellectual, beautiful, gentle girl. Much more than what she shows on the surface.

All of the students recently turned in their midterm papers. Grabbing your coffee, you plopped yourself down on your couch ready to grade them from home. Of course you had to start with your favorite, Cairo.

She decided to branch off and choose a controversial author to write in the style of - but you trusted her.

flashback

You were sitting at your desk after class, the same day that you handed out the midterm syllabus. Cairo approached your desk, holding the sheet in hand.

"Can we talk about the midterm for a second?" She said in her soft southern drawl.

"Of course we can, what's up?" You reply, sitting up a bit straighter in your seat.

"I'm having second thoughts about my author and I want to get your okay before I go in deep." She replied, a small smirk curling on her lips.

"Deep, huh? Who is it?" You questioned.

"Henry Miller." She says, smiling fully now. Her freckles dappled from her nose to her cheeks.

"Woah, provocative. He's not on the approved reading list, Cairo." You say, raising one of your eyebrows. "I can't approve that."

Cairo narrowed her eyes, determined to get her way. "I think can justify him, Ms. y/l/n."

You sighed, crossing your legs under the desk. Henry Miller's writing is very strong, explicit... you get the idea. "His structural merit is challenging to emulate."

Cairo's eyes brightened as she speaks. "It's not just structural. It's everything. His decadence- his total disregard for literacy etiquette, his destruction of convention. You know. The good stuff." She gave you that look. Those big brown eyes that she knew you were weak to.

"Okay," you said, accepting it.

"Okay?" She asks back, confirming with a bright smile.

"If there's anyone I trust to handle that kind of material. It's you. Write what you know, Cairo."

end flashback

After reading her paper, you couldn't believe what she wrote. Titled "For Y/n From Cairo". It must have been the smuttiest thing you've ever read. And to make it worse - she revolved it around the two of you's relationship.

You couldn't let her turn this in. Quickly, you picked up your phone and texted her to come over.

Within 15 minutes, she walked through your door, casual as ever. You're still sitting on the couch with papers in your hand.

Cairo walks right over to you, wearing her skirt and jean jacket, and sits herself down on your lap like always. You have to gently push her off.

"Why are-"
