Tay(angrily): "You just don't understand me, New."
New (bursting out): "Oh, so now I don't understand you? Fine, go find someone who does!"
Tay (getting more furious): "I will! And I'll show you who that is soon enough."
New (shocked, but still angry): "I'd love to meet this person who understands you better than I do."
Tay: "New, you're crazy, you know that?"
New(shouting): "Yes, Tay! I'm crazy-crazy for caring about you, crazy in lov-"
(Tay's eyes widen, but before he can say anything, his phone rings. He answers, smiling gently as he talks, while New stands there, seething.)
(Tay finishes the call and starts packing his things, deliberately ignoring New.)
New (coldly): "Where are you going?"
Tay (not looking at New): "Home, to prepare for something."
New: "Why? What's so special?"
Tay (casually): "Today, someone confessed their love to me. Now, I have to reply."
New (shocked and jealous): "Who is he?"
Tay: "You'll find out soon."
New (hesitantly): "Is it...the person you were talking to on the phone?"
Tay(teasing, with a smirk): "Kind of. He finally confessed, and now it's my turn."
(New, overwhelmed with fear and jealousy, assumes Tay has someone else.)
New(holding back tears, voice trembling): "Tay...do you really love him?"
Tay(shyly): "For years."
New(almost crying): "Will you leave me?"
(A tear falls from New's eyes. Tay immediately turns, seeing New's tears, and rushes over to him. He kneels down, gently cupping New's face in his hands.)
Tay(softly, pushing): "Why are you crying, New? You should be happy for me."
New(sobbing): "Happy? How could I be happy when you're talking about leaving me?"
Tay(gently, but firmly): "But if you really cared about me, shouldn't you want me to be with someone who loves me? Someone who makes me happy?"
New(desperately): "But that's supposed to be me, Tay! I've always wanted to be the one to make you happy, to be the one you love!"
Tay(pressing, still teasing): "So, you think you're the only one who can love me? What makes you so sure?"
New (voice breaking, pouring out his heart): "Because I've loved you for years, Tay! Every time I see you smile, every time you laugh, my heart feels like it's going to burst. I love the way you care about others, the way you're always there for me. I love you so much that it hurts to think of you with someone else."
Tay(leaning in, softly): "Then why didn't you say anything before, New?"
New (crying harder, finally confessing): "Because I was scared! Scared that you didn't feel the same, that I'd lose you if I told you. But now, thinking of you with someone else, I can't keep it in anymore. I love you, Tay. I love you more than anything in this world. I can't lose you."
(Tay's expression softens as he pulls New into a tight embrace, tears in his own eyes.)
Tay(whispering): "That's all I needed to hear, New. I've been waiting for you to say it. I love you too. It's always been you, only you."
(New clings to Tay, relief and love flooding through him as they hold each other close, finally letting their feelings show.)

I know this chapter is a simple one, focusing on a love confession sparked by jealousy, but it's a concept I really enjoy. I hope you all will like it too!
