I woke up to the soft gray light of a cloudy morning filtering through the curtains, the atmosphere hinting at the approaching rainy season. The muted sound of distant thunder brought a familiar, unsettling feeling. Rain had always been a reminder of my past-a haunting echo of my trauma. Only Nitu and her family knew why I never ventured out during the rainy season.

I shifted slightly, only to realize that Yash's arm was wrapped securely around me, holding me close. A small smile tugged at my lips as I recalled the events of last night. My cheeks warmed at the memory, and I blushed, feeling a mixture of shyness and contentment. For the first time, I had allowed myself to fully trust him, to let him into the most vulnerable part of me.

I could still feel a lingering soreness, a testament to the depth of our connection. He had been gentle, his touch laced with a care that made me feel cherished. Despite his restraint, I knew that he had been holding back, afraid of hurting me.

Carefully, I tried to move out of his embrace, but his grip tightened, and I felt a light kiss press against my shoulder. A smirk played on his lips as he murmured in a sleepy voice, "And where do you think you're going, my Little Swan?"

I turned my head to meet his gaze, his dark eyes still heavy with sleep but full of warmth. "Just trying to get up," I replied softly, leaning in to kiss him lightly on the lips. He responded with a deeper kiss, pulling me closer, his hands wandering over my body with a possessive gentleness that sent shivers down my spine.

"I love waking up to you," he whispered against my lips, his voice low and husky. "But don't think for a second that you're getting out of bed so easily after last night."

I blushed even deeper at his words, biting my lip as I tried to sit up. The soreness reminded me again of how intense our night had been, and I winced slightly as I attempted to stand. Yash was instantly alert, his eyes narrowing in concern. Before I could take another step, I felt his hands on my waist, steadying me.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine worry, even though a mischievous glint danced in his eyes.

"I'm fine," I replied, trying to downplay the discomfort. But the way he was looking at me told me he wasn't convinced.

"Fine, huh?" He placed light kisses along the back of my neck, making me shiver. "You're not as fine as you think," he teased, his hands gently kneading my hips.

"I-uh, I'm just a little sore," I admitted, feeling the heat rise in my cheeks.

He smirked, pulling me back into his embrace, his chest pressed against my back. "I tried to be gentle, but..." His voice trailed off as he kissed the sensitive spot behind my ear, causing me to gasp softly.

"You were," I assured him, turning my head slightly to meet his gaze. "You were perfect."

He chuckled softly, his lips brushing against my skin. "Still, I think I need to take extra care of you today. No getting up unless I say so."
