A Little More Than Reading

Kai walked over to Cole's room and knocked on the door. It was Saturday afternoon so the ninja had a free day to do what ever they pleased.

"Come in!" Kai heard Cole yell. Kai opened the door and walked on in. 

Days like these usually him and Cole would spend together either reading, chatting or playing video games.

Cole looked up from his book when he heard a knock on his door and set it to the side. He had a pretty good idea of who was at the door. "Hey Kai, what's up?" Cole questioned the red ninja.

"I wanted to ask if I could read in here? I don't really want to be alone." Kai said the last part more quietly and looked down. Cole smiled at him and moved over on his bed so Kai could sit.

"Of course, come on over." Cole patted the spot next to him and Kai looked up. Kai didn't expect to sit on the bed so he immediately blushed then made his way across the room. Kai sat down on the bed and rearranged the pillows so he was more supported and comfortable.

Cole chuckled. "Well, it seems like you're making yourself comfortable. Are you planning on staying?"

"Maybe I should," Kai said with a smirk then leaned over to whisper in Cole's ear. "You would love it." Cole's face immediately went red with a blazing blush and he was at a loss for words.

"Er-" The black ninja mumbled out. Kai had a giant, signature smirk on his face and leaned back into the pillows to start reading. Suddenly, his book was taken from his hands.

"Oh no you don't!" Cole said, holding Kai's book over his head.

"Coleeee, give it baaaack." Kai whined, trying to reach for the book. But due to their height difference, he couldn't reach. So, Kai got a better idea. Quick like a ninja, Kai got up and tackled Cole onto his back so that Kai was on the black ninjas chest. 

(Think of the height difference as about the same as the cover for this fic)

Both of the ninja were panting then they started to laugh. 

After laughing for about 5 minutes straight, Kai realized how close their faces were to each other. Both of them looked the other in the eye and started to lean in.

Kai placed his hands on either side of Cole's face while Cole's hand were on the red ninjas hips. Which were currently straddling him. 

"Kai," Cole whispered.

"Shh," Then their lips met. It was a passionate kiss. They kissed with love, wanting, happiness. They were many emotions and feelings said without words- only with the action of their lips meeting.

"Hey Cole, can I borrow your..." Jay walked in, because he never knocks, and immediately froze when he saw what the two were doing. "Umm... I'll come back later." Then, fast as lightning, he zipped out of the room.

He ran down the hall into the living area where Lloyd was playing video games. 

Jay stood smack centre in front of him, hand on his hips, so that the green ninja couldn't see the screen. "Jay! C'mon, move!" Lloyd said, trying to see around him. He died. Lloyd slumped.

"You owe me $20 bucks." Jay said sassily with his hand outstretched. Lloyds face immediately turned to shock, then happiness to the point where he jumped up and started hugging and jumping with Jay. 

Both ninja giggling like school girls.

Nya walked by and was confused at what she was seeing. "Um, what's going on in here?" She sounded sceptical and confused.

"Kai and Cole kiss-..." But Lloyd didn't realize who was there and when he saw Nya he stopped dead in his tracks.

"They. Did. What." Nya's eye twitched. Jay and Lloyd now stood there terrified. 

This couldn't end well.

Nya marched down the hall, fuming and about to blow. "COLE!" No response. Probably because the two ninja were still kissing on the earth ninjas bed.

Nya burst through the door and grabbed both ninja, pulling them off the bed. Kai took one look at his little sister and knew this wouldn't end well.

It didn't. 

Let just say, Cole may have a bit of a black eye for a while. Well, that just goes to show that you never want to face the wrath of Nya.

I didn't know how to end this one so I ended it with little big protective sister Nya.

Let's face it- Nya's a girl boss and would totally do this if lava became canon. In which I really hope it does T-T
