Jaune was getting more equipment to deal with Vacuo

Ruby: Jaune.

Jaune: yes Ruby.

Ruby: I know you've been through a lot and I know you have a hard time trusting people. But we never stopped fighting for this world. 

( In this world the mistrust between Team RWBY and Ironwood wasn't broken as they came clean about Salem's Immortality and plans. They were discussing their plans on countering her before The Slayer returned and now Hope was growing amongst the people. )

Jaune: I know Ruby. But hell plagued me with the worst nightmares I could ever imagine. And one of those nightmares is all of you dying and me powerless to stop it.

Ruby puts a hand on his shoulder even if she had to tip toe for it

Ruby: we can stand together. Jaune. 

Jaune:.......

Ruby: we are ready to do our part to lighten your load.

Jaune: I know Ruby.

He takes her hand off

Jaune: but 'she' is still out there.......and I saw a future where she killed Pyrrha....she killed all of you.....and I won't let that happen.

Ruby: then trust us to deal with the smaller problems, please don't shut us out.

Jaune stopped right there

He knelt and gave her a hug

Jaune: it has been so long since I felt care......a long time since I felt warmth that wasn't Hell Fire........so long of being Alone..........with one Mission.

Thank you Ruby for making me feel this again.

Ruby: feel what?

Jaune: that someone cares...........

Alright. You guys can.....

An Alert blared in the Fortress of Doom as Jaune and Ruby rushed back to the Main Hall

Jaune: VEGA! What's happening?

VEGA: An extremely Massive Horde of Grimm ranging from Monstras to Wyverns and High Class Grimm are heading to Vacuo.

Jaune: Salem wouldn't bother with a full front assault after her recent string of failures. This must be the Brothers doing.

Ironwood: to keep you from gathering the Relics and summoning them to this plane. I will send word to my Fleet to support Vacuo's defense.

Jaune: Ruby I know what you guys can do. I need you to hold the Capital until I get there.

Weiss: what do you mean about that?

Jaune: I can't use the BFG 10,000 near a city, it may be powerful but it's far from precise.

Yang: shouldn't you be up front kicking ass?

Jaune: I have a way of clearing massive hordes but it needs some time to prepare.

Blake: you need us to buy time.

Pyrrha: we gut Three Teams we can handle it. You don't have to do this by yourself anymore.

Penny: count me in!

Winter: I will accompany her.

Qrow: I'll tag along to keep an eye out on the kids.

Coco: you can count on us Jauney boy!

Velvet: we're in this together.

Yatsuhashi: we will give you the time you need.
