you were here, at the grocery store, quickly making your way to the aisle where most of the snacks were kept. your gaze wandered around, "huh? new japanese snacks? hanabi did tell me this 'kombucha' drink is very good, maybe i can find it." you thought to yourself.
you walked around, browsing through the aisles for this certain drink. and when you did find it, bottled up and labelled, "kombucha", there were multiple brands.
and you definitely had no idea which one to get. you simply stood there, dumbfounded. sighing, you looked around you, to see if there were any other buyers.
just then had you spotted a figure, tall, with a body that looked as if it were well built, and even though this person wore a cap, and mask, you could see those striking teal eyes of his, with gorgeous underlashes it reminded you a little too much of rin's.
he walked with purpose, as if he knew exactly what he wanted. he immediately picked up a few bottles of the same brand of kombucha, unflavored versions.
he didn't seem to hesitate at all, yeah, you'd definitely take what he's taking!
"are you going to keep staring or what?"
those words catch you off guard. a voice that sounded rather familiar. words spoken with such disdain.
how much more lucky in life could you get! you had just sent a barrage of hate messages to the very man that stood in front of you right now!
just then, you find yourself coming to a realisation. wait, he didn't know you were (y/n), neither did he know what you looked or sounded like!
yeah, this is definitely not so bad.
"sorry, sorry.." you murmured, and itoshi sae really couldn't seem to care less as he turned to walk away.
letting out a breath of relief, you go ahead to take the kombucha.
"(Y/N)!" a voice calls out, overly high pitched and excited to see you. turning back, you searched for the voice that called out to you. almost forgetting your identity was revealed.
sae's eyes widen, immediately recognising you.
