Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and the months into years.

And by God did the ranch change.

John passed away from a stroke about six months after the fiasco with Walker and the ranch was handed down to Kayce.

Kayce and Monica eventually had another son, whom they named William John Dutton.

Beth and Rip live out on the ranch alongside Kayce and Monica, having adopted Carter.

Jamie went off the grid and cut contact with his family, and is now raising his son with Christina.

Some days he wonders what it would've been like if Elisabeth ever said yes to him.

Ryan split from the ranch and lives on his own in Salt Lake City, Utah, competing in the rodeo circuit as a team roper.

Lloyd passed away due to throat cancer just three weeks following John's death.

Colby and Teeter married, left the ranch, moved to Salida, Colorado, and now have a daughter named Jenny.

Jimmy and Emily married and are living the rest of their lives on the Four Sixes Ranch.

Jake and Ethan went back to the rodeo circuit and now train horses for EE Ranches in Whitesboro, Texas.

After being kicked off the ranch, Walker returned to his roots as a drifting alcoholic musician and now resides in Williston, North Dakota.

He still hasn't taken another lover.

Elisabeth and Beau left the Yellowstone just a month and a half after both John and Lloyd died, deciding to start their relationship over.

They married two years later and moved to Syracuse, Utah.

They now live comfortably in their black barndominium with warmly stained wood on their patch of land.

They have a second building, a garage for both their trucks as well as a 'date night' car.

They are the proud parents of a daughter named Clara Lynn Magnani, along with a second baby on the way.

Elisabeth half smiled as she watched Clara scamper about the yard with their beloved black lab on her heels.

Beau wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and kissed her cheek.

"Clara! Quit tryna grab the dog's tail!" She exclaimed, earning a chuckle from her husband.

"Whatcha thinkin' about?" He asked, placing a hand over the barely there bump in her stomach.

She huffed softly in a slight laugh as her eyes glossed over.

"Nothin'... nothin' at all."

Beau rested his chin on his shoulder as he joined her in watching Clara.

"We made it, darlin'..." He murmured.

She half smiled and rested her hand on top of his, cradling her stomach.

"Yeah... we made it."

Who needs trust but needs freedom
Who wants love but would be fine on her own
For a girl like you
With your daddy's mannerisms
And a soft smile makes the distance less alone
In a world that's full of wanting what is next
