Authors note:
This part is a little shorter and sort of just filler because I wanted a gap between what happened in the last part and the next part so here you go. Wholesome Fizz content :)

"So." Fizz said, standing in the middle of your living room.

"So." You replied, standing on the other side of the living room, looking around. Mark had just left, leaving you and Fizz standing there not knowing where to go from here.

"How are you feeling?" She asked, looking over at you.

"Weird." You said. "But good I think. Thank you for staying with me, I really appreciate it."

"Hey no problem!" She walked over and put a hand on your arm comfortingly. "I will say though I feel a bit weird. Like... not to put thoughts in your head but I feel like what if there are hidden cameras or something?"

You snapped your head towards Fizz. "Don't."

"I'm sorry!" She said, holding her arms up defensively. "We were both thinking it."

"Yeah but I didn't speak it."

There was a pregnant pause between you as you stood there in silence.

"You know the hardware store has a hidden camera detector." Fizz said. You thought for a moment. "We could go get one-"

"Yes let's." You said, walking over to the door and grabbing your coat.

The two of you left quickly and walked to the high street not too far from your apartment. The hardware store was just about to close but you managed to get in and grab what you needed, settling on a hidden camera detector and a deadbolt for your door. You thanked your past self for choosing an apartment so close to the high street as it only took about half an hour in total to get there, get what you needed, and get back.

The air inside your apartment was invitingly warm compared to the chill of the outside air.

"Right. How does this thing work?" You asked, sitting down onto the couch and playing with the hidden camera detector. You then pressed a button and a bright red light glared from the sensor into your eyes. "OW SHIT!" You yelled, dropping it on the floor, temporarily blinded.

Fizz laughed loudly, keeling over. "Oh my god you stupid stupid girl." She heaved.

"Yeah alright." You said as you picked it up and threw the device at Fizz. She flinched, still laughing.

"Hey!" She cried. "Alright let's try it out."

She pointed the device at the wall and turned it on, then began scanning around.

"How do you tell if it's working?" You asked, looking at the box. "Oh! It reflects off of the camera lens so it looks like a flashing light if it's pointed at it." You said, standing up and following fizz around as she waved the light around at any cabinet, light fitting or crevice a hidden camera could be. You put your hands on her shoulders, standing close to her, almost hiding behind her nervously as she walked around, waving the light.

The next hour consisted of scanning the entire apartment top to bottom many many times until you were both happy with the fact that nothing seemed out of place, no hidden cameras, nothing untoward. You sat on your bed finally, a little worn out from the excitement.

"Well I guess that's that." Fizz said, sitting next to you.

"Something still doesn't feel right..." you sighed.

"Oh! I know!" Fizz said, standing up excitedly. "How about we rearrange some of your furniture? Make it feel fresh and new!" She clapped her hands together with excitement and looked at you with big bright eyes.
