Where do you find an Anuj?
He calls her "my anu" and "meri anu" while talking to her or about her to someone else and sometimes even while talking to himself
But never once believes that he owns her or can even decide for her
Him addressing her that way is one of the 100 ways he continues to express his love - sounds like devotion on most days
If he wants to be dramatic and sincere at the same time, he says he is her Meera
He loves watching her get ready but more than that he likes dressing and undressing her in mundane unusual ways
He will casually untangle her hair after her head bath in the morning while telling her something important about work
He will show up out of thin air to bend down and neatly arrange her saree pleats
He will remove her braid after a hard day and very sincerely put her to sleep
He will pack and hand over her dabba on some days and on others, he will not forgot to appreciate her efforts when she packs lunch for him with a cute note
He will take time to make hand made gifts for Diwali
He will correct her English and that to so smoothly without an iota of judgement; his focus is always on what she's saying and the correction is just a side gig
He values her independence and identity deeply and is truly happy rather overjoyed to take her last name if common last names is what the society needs for married couples
He wants to actively discuss their relationship and invest in nurturing it every day
He asks her to promise him that they'll always talk and make time for each other irrespective of busy schedules
He teases her, flirts with her, looks at her unabashedly but never stops being her best roommate and friend
