"Apologies for my tardiness uncle, getting back to the palace was difficult due to the commoners standing at the gate"

"It's been only a minute. I'll allow it" Ozai nodded "So, what is it you wanted to discuss?"

"It is about the war meeting tomorrow, mainly Zukos participation, I believe it would be a good move to have him included"

"Oh do you?" Ozai raised an eyebrow "and whys that, don't tell me you feel..bad, for your cousin" he eyes narrowed

"Not particularly" Hisane spoke, if she could get zuko into this war meeting not only would his stand waver even more, but she could regain her uncles trust for the time being

"In order to keep him in line, I feel like making his feel as if he is being treated like Azula and I will lead him into a false sense of security. Then he'll never dream of stepping out of line"

"That is smart" Ozai hummed "is that what you believe I'm doing to you and Azula?" He questioned

She couldn't mess this up

"Of course not" she said, faking over confidence as she let out a small chuckle "you'd never treat us like zuko"

Upon seeing ozais satisfied smirk she knew he believed she was but another perfectly controlled pawn

"I'm glad you know" he hummed "after all, who has shown you kindness, when your utter failure of a father cast you away"

"Only you uncle, and I am forever grateful" she bowed as Ozai nodded

"I shall take your word into consideration" he hummed

"Thank you uncle" Hisane smiled as she made her way out of the throne room, taking off her armour

"What are you doing here? I'm working on a project?" Hisane asked as she made her way out of her door to see Jun

"You don't need to work all the time, relax a bit babe" he smiled as he gave the princess a kiss on her lips

"Let's go out for a bit, everyone's at the capital" he spoke, Hisane wearing a hesitant look

"Alright" she nodded, making her way to the castle doors where a group of citizens cheered for her

"Princess, please board the palanquin" a guard knelt down

"Oh that won't be necessary, I can just—"

"But I insist Princess! There is no reason royalty should be walking"

"What about Jun?"

"I'll just walk beside you" he nodded
