"I'm so excited to spend the weekend on ember island!" Ty lee smiled as she grabbed Hisane from her seat next to Mai and spun around with her
"It's gonna be great to hang out on the beach and do nothing"
"That does sound nice" Hisane smiled
"Doing nothing is a waste of time. We're being sent away in a forced vacation. I feel like a child" zuko scowled
"Lighten up." Azulo spoke "so dad wants to meet with his advisors alone without anyone else around don't take it personally"
"Doesn't your family have a house on ember island?" Ty lee asked
"We used to come every summer when we were kids"
"That must've been fun"
"That was a long time ago" Zuko mumbled, Hisane and mai looking at each other after he said that
"You must've had some good memories" Hisane questioned
"There was that time uncle took you and I there with Lu ten" Zuko smiled
"Actually that was just you and Lu ten, I didn't go" Hisane frowned
"The southern earth kingdom colonies?"
"That was you and dad" Hisane deadpanned
"Oh.." zuko blinked
"Welcome to ember island kids" two old ladies greeted the five of them
"What a cute house" Hisane hummed as Mai gave her a confused look
"It smells like old lady in here.." zuko grimaced
"Gee, I wonder why" Mai spoke
"Who are these two beautiful women?" Ty lee asked as she pointed to a painting on the wall
"Can't you tell?" Both old ladies spoke as they recreated the pose
"It's li and me"
"It's lo and me"
Zuko brought a hand to his mouth
"Ooh I love the seashell bedspread" Ty lee smiled as she and Hisane felt the fabric
"Are you serious? It looks like the beach threw up all over it" Mai sighed
"We know you're upset that you were forced to come here this weekend" li spoke "but ember island is a magical place"
"Keep and open mind" lo stated
"Give it a chance" li added
"And it can help you understand yourselves and eachother" they both spoke,
"The beach has a special way" Lo began as she grabbed a smooth stone, handing it to li "of smoothing even the most ragged edges."
"What are they saying?" Ty lee asked, Hisane shrugging
