"This tea is great!" Aang smiled as Hisane poured him and Katara another cup whilst Toph and Sokka blew on theirs

"Thank you, it's a family recipe" She smiled as she placed the cup down "jasmine tea is one of my favourites" she nodded as she made her way to the mirror and began to braid her hair into a singular braid that circled around her head, securing it with a red and gold pin as she grabbed a basket

"Where are you going Hisa? I thought you'd join Katara and I at the spa today" Toph frowned

"Sorry Toph, but I need to do something" Hisane frowned "I'll be back by sundown" she waved as she left the house

"I wonder what she's going to do" Katara pondered out loud

"Dyou think she has a date?" Toph questioned

"Really??" Katara and Sokka leaned forward

"It was just a suggestion" she shrugged "but on second thought, I don't think that was it"

"Then what is it?" Aang questioned

"She seemed kind of..sad"

"Two tulips please" Hisane smiled as she placed a bronze coin down, making her way to a pastries shop

"Hey" Hisane spoke as she set up the painting of Lu ten in a small field near lake lougai "I brought your favourite" she hummed as she took out a jam filled pastries

"I don't like them, but you love them don't you" She smiled "do you like my hair? I'm wearing it in a bun like you do...hey! Maybe I should grow a beard next" she snickered

"Life is looking up" hisane hummed as she scratched the back of her ear "I just wish you were still here, then again, what would you say about me joining the avatar?" She smiled

"I wonder what you'd think of my reaction to dads injury" She lowered her gaze as she watched a group of ants pass by

"If only I had a half of your strength" she mumbled "then maybe I'd be able to love more" she tried her best to wipe the tears streaming down her face

"But the child in my won't stop crying for her big brother, one day I'll be ninteen! Then twenty, and you'll still be nineteen" she sobbed "it's not fair.." she sighed as the wind blew one of the tulips out of her hands, leaving the smaller one behind

By the time she'd calmed down night had already fallen, prompting the young firebender to stand up and make her way down the hill

The farther down she traveled the easier it was for her to see the giant flames that were being emitted near the centre of the upper rink, prompting Hisane to follow the light only to find a group of of adult and children cheering

Right, father came back home with the troops after Lu tens death, she remembered as she watched the people burn a fire nation flag as the danced and cheered, celebrating the end of the siege
