Authors note:
I'm writing this on my phone as I'm not at home right now and there's a bug on the mobile app making it so I can't upload photos. When I'm home I'll put one up but for now you'll have to live without I'm afraid :(

As the session came to an end, the initial design for the set pretty much finalised, Fizz left quickly so she could start planning the build. You'd exchanged phone numbers to keep in contact- which you're sure you would. She seemed so lovely and you had an instant connection which you knew would blossom into a friendship. This was weird and new to you, you hadn't really made friends since everything happened with Josh and Zola, but you decided to embrace it. So not only had you and Mark hit it off with the possibility of being friends, you'd made a connection with another person too all in the same week.

After going over your notes, You and Mark decided to go out to find props and set pieces, first driving to Marks house so he could park his car and take his truck instead.

Marks house was big and fancy. Modern, away from all the other houses in the area, with a big field behind the back yard for the dogs to play in.

"I know I know it's a little big for a man living by himself but what can I say? I like nice things." Mark seemed a little embarrassed as he tried to justify the size of his house, but you weren't judging.

"It's nice. You'll have to give me a tour at some point." You smiled, walking over to Marks truck. It was black, not too big, but had a spacious truck bed, more than enough to bring back whatever furniture you planned to buy.

Mark smiled at the prospect, "yeah sounds good let's do that."

The plan was to go to a large thrift warehouse which wasn't too far from the studio. Mark drove, the radio on, as you spoke.

The roads weren't too busy, the sky clear and blue but with some grey clouds looming in the distance. You hoped you'd avoid the rain.

"I keep thinking about what you said earlier." You explained to Mark. The world zipped by as you drove along the city, enjoying the company.

"Hmm?" He asked.

"About me being hard to read and being shut off and stuff." You clarified. Mark glanced at you for a second and nodded, urging you to continue before returning his attention to the road. "I just wanted to say I never meant to come across as rude or anything, I just prefer to keep to myself."

Mark smiled. "You didn't come across as rude at all, you have boundaries and I respect that..." he said, switching gears before returning his hand to the wheel. You watched them move. You'd never really paid attention to someone's hands before and never really knew hands could be...well... a bit of a turn on for you. Something about the size of them (big but not huge, they fit his proportions perfectly with him being quite broad and muscular), the length of his fingers, the veins... mark continued: "That being said, you do make me very curious, I wanna get under that stony exterior."

"It's not an exterior." You uttered, looking out the window. "I'm stony through and through." Mark saying this did send a warmth through your chest and you felt a sense of excitement but made sure you didn't show it. There was also that weird looming feeling you got whenever someone tried to get you to open up. It felt unnatural.

"I don't believe that for a second." Mark said bluntly.

You looked at him as he concentrated on the road. God he was beautiful.

Soon enough, you pulled up to the store, a large warehouse filled with furniture and housewares as well as other things. The inside was large and vast, seeming to go on forever. There were tables and chairs, shelves filled with artwork, statues and random objects people had donated, clothes rails, books, it seemed there was a bit of everything. Noticing a clothing rack filled with men's wears, you had a thought.
