Finding Yourself

Chapter Two:

[Meg's P.O.V]

I walk into school still a bit baffled at the rudeness of whoever that boy was. I stop at my locker and grab my notebook then meet up with two of the best people in the entire world, Lily and Bella. They had been my best friends since the day we all meet in kindergarten. "Hey Meg" I gave Lily a smile and said "Hey girls" I figured this was the best time to see if they knew anything about the rude boy I bumped into outside, there was something about him that made me want to know more. "Do either of you know of a taller boy black hair blue eyes and wears all black that goes to this school?" As I reach the end of my question Lily just stares at me with a puzzled look on her face while Bella's face turns into a smile and says "Um yeah, I think his name is Austin, he is a year older than us why do you ask." She finishes without the smile ever leaving her face which makes Lily break out into one. They can not possibly think that I have already fallen for someone I knew absolutely nothing about. "Oh I bumped into him outside in the parking lot and he was quite nasty about it." It was if it was on cue that Bella says "Speak of the devil here he comes now." I felt like I wanted to turn and run or hide my face but there wasn't really a good reason to and I had no idea why I felt the need to.

Austin (as I was informed was his name) came strutting into school next to another boy who was dressed very similar to him but had a longer haircut.
As they walked by my friends and I Austin never broke eye contact with me, I felt like I was being interrogated just by his eyes. They eventually passed and I turned to look back at my friends when all they said in unison was "What was that."
