Tre had always been a problem child. As soon as he started Kindergarten, he'd been getting referral after referral for his rambunctious behavior in the classroom.
That behavior carried over into middle school and high school, and it eventually carried on into his life after school. Except, his wild behavior wasn't excused by a referral anymore, and he was now being punished by the police and the court.
Tre had just gotten home after spending six months in jail for battery.
Although most of his time in jail was spent thinking, Tre had never come to the conclusion that he should change his hot headed demeanor to have a better future, and instead chose to live the same life he'd lived before he went to jail.
Tre was currently lying on the couch of his brother's home, considering his mother refused to allow him to stay with her until he could get his own place.
Tre looked up when the front door was knocked on, sighing as he'd realized he'd have to open it, seeing as he was the only one at the home.
The man stood from the couch, trudging to the front door before checking the peephole to see who was on the other side of it.
Tre's face scrunched in disgust when he saw the man that his old brother called a best friend.
