There was surprise on his face. Not of knowing something he didn't know but of having something he didn't expect happen. He knows who i am, he just played around to get what he wants out of my mouth. Only to confirm. It might be just an empty threat hanging in the air but it could also be what he's capable of if I didn't open my mouth. Either way there's no use in hiding my identity. He'll get it out somehow and prove that i am me.

"You can come visit me anytime you want to get my signatures if you can't get the papers done by now."

He snapped back to his emotionless face and nodded. "Well, I do hope you realise how much you owe me?"

"Whatever it is I'll pay you. If the shares are not enough I'll talk with my lawyer and settle it with my trust fund. If not I'll give whatever it takes from my personal account."

"All this for an adopted sister?"

"Mr Hamilton, you get what you want and i get to keep my loved ones safe. I don't care what the cost is."

"That is the problem, Ms Parker." He sighed and gestured me to sit. I didn't want to but i did. If i stay in his presence for any longer... I'd turn violent just like him and that is the last thing i want to happen. I really want to sign the papers and get it over with.

"You can not access your trust fund without a husband."

What? This guy is telling me what i could and couldn't in my own life. I was about to retort but he cut me off again. "Your father made sure your husband would have the only right to access your trust fund."

Dad is very smart to make that move. I'm sure he did that because of Martin.

"Didn't you know about that?"

I wanted to tell him i don't give a damn about money, that i was more busy grieving my parent's death than worry about what they left me but i didn't tell him either. "I do. I'll sign up promising you that i will give you whatever you need as soon as i get married." I don't know if that'll happen anytime soon but I'll throw it onto his face.

"How can you be sure that your husband would let go of all that money just because you said so? Money and greed is not something you can control."

"Not all people care about money--"

"But i do." He crossed his legs and looked straight into my eyes as if he's trying to drill the information into my head. "So i have a proposition for you. Marry me and give me what i want."

Again? What's wrong with this guy?

"How can you say that with ease? Marriage is not a joke--"

"It's not like i want to, Parker! I have no choice but atleast you do."

Me or Eve. I remember.

"But don't think I'll let you off for the inconvenience." Problem i created? Since the moment i met him...he's been the biggest inconvinience of my life. "I'll make sure your aunt and uncle pays for what you did."

What else could he do than that? He's been threatening me since his eyes set on me.

"You can't force me into it. It's unfair." I whispered, hoping for a miracle somehow.

"You'll be marrying the second richest man in the world and that's unfair? This doesn't come to everyone, Ms Parker. I've been very generous to consider marriage." Generous. I could kick him right now for saying that. This is not generous, it's the worst punishment anyone could ever give me!

"Not everyone cares for money like you."

"Yes, not everyone but atleast your sister—"

"Wait!" He stopped and looked at me expectantly. "I'll do it."
