Chapter Five

╰➢ Chapter 5, let's go!

Y/n was awake and roaming around the halls in her floral dress that she usually wears with the white shirt and tan pants underneath it. She wanted to get some exercise or some air because of how stuffy she started to feel in the chambers she was given. Her hair was down brushed and was covering her ear, as always. She did feel a lot better after sleeping and got new and clean bandages on her wounds. It didn't hurt as much as before but if she did move too fast or in a certain way, there will be pain.

She stopped in front of a painting that had the Royal Family in it. It hasn't been updated because the Prince and Princess were little kids in the photo, unless they have another family painting somewhere else. She looked away to continue on her way but she saw the King a couple feet away from her.

"You're up early" He stated the obvious.

Y/n only smiled not knowing what to say since her brain was still waking up while her body was fully energized from not being in that room. She looked down and bowed to excuse herself but as she bowed, the King walked up to her. She saw his feet. She stood up and stared up at him.

"Come with me"

Not being able to say no, Y/n nodded her head and followed him to where ever he was taking her. She was more cautious and paranoid  since she with one of the Royals. She stayed a couple of feet behind him. She didn't want to be too close to him just in case he tries to pull something. But who would try to do something a injured person? They would. She immediately thought as she continued to follow him.

It took about twenty minutes or so but he led her out of the castle but stayed within the walls of the castle. They started to approach a large garden of flowers and vines. She showed a big smile and immediately walked past the King to get to some of the flowers. She gently placed her fingers on he flowers that looked to be dying.

The King kept his eyes on her as he walked up to her, seeing some yellow like glittery trail flowing towards the dying flowers that the young woman was touching. He saw them come back to life within seconds. They were blooming again but they were brighter this time around. His eyes shifted over to the woman's face and saw that is was beaming with happiness.

She turned her head to the left, making the King see the back of her head, and she noticed a tall flower. She gasped, "You have a Titan Arums!"

She ran over to the giant flower but made sure she doesn't touch it. The flower was poisonous to humans. She has an antidote but it's back at her flower shop. She stood about a foot in front of the plant. The King had followed her over to the giant flower that was gifted to his son on his birthday.

"You know this flower?" He asked her.

Y/n turned her head and her attention is now fully on the King, "Yes," She looked back at the flower, "It is a Titan Arums. One of the largest flowers that anyone has come across."

"Anything else you could tell me about it?"

"It's very poisonous to humans, including the fruits-"

Y/n stopped and looked at the King. She thought about what just happened the moment she walked into the garden. She was wondering why the King brought her to the garden and why he is asking questions about the flowers. She thought he would ask about what happened at his daughter's birthday party. She crossed her arms and turned her body to completely face the King.
