6. Pinpoint

"I didn't make you wait too long, did I, Cale?" Hyunjae walked up to them, reuniting with them again.

'Why's he asking me?' Cale wondered. "No."

"You idiot! Are s-classes usually this slow?!" Yoojin cursed him.

"Sorry." Hyunjae put on another smile.

"Whatever. Let's just finish this dungeon now."

Yoojin and the group made their way up.

'Are we climbing a mountain without any gear?!' Cale thought, already tired.

"Cale-nim." Choi Han called out. "Do you need me to carry you?" He asked, his sparkly and anticipating eyes looking into Cale's.

"...I do..." Cale answered, feeling a bit uncomfortable about this staring.

"What about me, Cale?" Hyunjae asked, pointing to himself. "Don't you want me to carry you as well?"

"No."

Hyunjae sulked, all to himself.

Choi Han smiled brightly. "Come here, Cale-nim! I'll carry you!" He held out his arms.

Cale raised an eyebrow, not a piggyback? He walked closer to Choi Han, only for Choi Han to pick him up in bridal style.

"Cale-nim!" He exclaimed happily.

Cale held on tight onto his shoulders, afraid of falling. "Isn't this.. position... a bit awkward..?" He asked.

"What do you mean, Cale-nim?" Choi Han tilted his head, confused. He was happy with how things were going, was Cale not?

Cale sighed, "it's nothing."

Choi Han smiled contently.

"Let's get moving, lovebirds." Yoojin told the three.

"Yes."

They continued their hike on the mountain. There were no monsters along their journey, so they made it to the top quickly.

"This should be the boss room." Yoojin stated the obvious. "Are we ready, guys?"

"Yes." Yoohyun answered immediately.

Yoojin smiled at his cute little brother, playing with his hair a bit. "What about you guys?"

"We're ready." Taewon answered for everyone.

"Alright." Yoojin nodded. "Cale and Choi Han, stay safe and out of the boss's view."

"Yes." They replied.

"Alright, let's go!" Yoojin applied his buffs to everyone before opening the room's range with everyone and starting the battle.

"Cale-nim, stay behind me." Choi Han said.

Cale nodded, he didn't want to fight anyways.

The boss was a large, fierce eagle about 10 times a regular one, contrary to the lions who were the king of the lands, the eagle was the king of the skies.

It roared strongly, shaking the mountain, signaling the start of the battle. Then it flew into the sky, diving in for the first attack.

"Dodge!" Yoojin yelled.

The others followed his instructions.

"Yerim, Hyunjae, hold it down so it can't go back into the sky!"

"Yes, Yoojin!" Yerim jumped high up into the air, walking on her ice, and attempted to freeze the eagle's claw.

Hyunjae, on the other hand, stayed on the ground. He sent his electrifying chains to deal with the eagle, wrapping it around the other claw and forced it towards the ground.
