The night after their wedding, Yuki silently sharpened her precious katana, beside her their stuff already packed, waiting for the departure.
In the next room, Muzan was sitting in the front while the servants were facing him, all of the servants including Inami.
"Starting from here, you all no longer need to serve me.", Muzan said, making some of the servants confused and surprised. He looked at the servants and then bowed his head, making all of them surprised. Their young master suddenly bowed down his head to them something they'd never unexpected.
"Young master—"
"I thanked you every one of you...for serving me who lacking in many ways.", he said, again making the rest of the servants surprised for no words.
Inami stared at him for a moment, before smiling gently as she bowed down her head and lowered than Muzan, now surprised the man.
"We should be the ones...to thank you, young master.", said Inami and the rest of the servants behind her started to bow down together.
"Thank you, young master.", all of them said in sync. Inami then stopped bowing and looked at Muzan as their eyes looked at each other and she said...
"Thank you...for being happy, young master. You deserve that after what had you been through in the past..."
Muzan's eyes widened but then again he bowed slightly, thanking her for everything. Maybe he was never alone in the fight place even before Yuki came into his life. They're all people who care for him and are always on his side no matter what he does. The only people who swore their loyalty to him. The people who were part of his life, the people he could consider as a family in his clan.
