'FIRST DAY OF SENIOR YEAR AT SOMERVILLE HIGH.. yay.' addison thought as she apprehensively bounced her leg up and down.
she was in the passenger seat of her mother, blair cromwell's car.
"you got this honey," she smiled, placing her hand onto her daughters thigh and squeezing it, "alright?"
addison sighed lightly as she nodded and looked out the car window. her heart felt as if it was going 100 miles per hour.
she wasn't usually this afraid of meeting new people - though, walking into a highschool with hundreds of new students is a lot harder than walking over to a big friend group to make friends at the beach.
she tapped on her phone that read '7:45am.' taking a deep breath, she frowned and realized that if she doesn't step into the highschool now, she'll end up being late.
addison reached over to her mom, hugging her tightly, "i think i'm ready."
"it's gonna be great, sweetheart." her mother smiled as she rubbed her daughters back.
pulling away, addison opened the car door hesitantly, "love you, ma."
blair quickly replied with an, "i love you too," and the girl was off to the main entrance.
