"So you still giving me the silent treatment?" Anthony asked as I tapped on my iPad loudly. I was playing a matching game.
"Ky it's been a week now, I told you I'm sorry baby." He sighed sitting something on the dresser.
I remained silent.
"What I gotta do to make it up to you?" He asked me for the millionth time.
The silent treatment was my only form of retaliation to Anthony's possessiveness. It bothered the hell out of him but I don't care. He pissed me off and broke my phone. I also needed space to process my emotions.
"I got you another phone, everything on here is setup. I gotta go get ready for my flight, I'll see you tomorrow." Anthony said before stepping out of my room.
Am I being an asshole?
I just huffed loudly. This love shit is so complicated.
I went into the living room to see the view of the city. It was nice but it wasn't anything compared to Atlanta.
I miss home and I miss my aggravating family.
I heard the front door open, and a familiar voice called out my name. "Kyla? Girl, where are you?"
My heart skipped a beat as I recognized the voice. It couldn't be... But when I turned around, there she was-my best friend, Isla, standing in the doorway with a huge grin on her face. I hadn't seen her since my birthday trip, and the surprise overwhelmed me.
"Lala?" I stood there, stunned, as she rushed over and pulled me into a tight hug. "What are you doing here?"
"Anthony invited me over, He said you two needed some time apart and I could spend the night for today. Girl, I missed you!" She pulled back and looked me up and down. "And it looks like you've been keeping yourself busy. Give me all the tea later on okay?"
