She was just a teenager when the world showed her its darkest side. Broken and scared, she built walls so high, she swore no one would ever get close-especially not a man. But life had other plans. Forced into a marriage with a stranger, she steppe...
Ruhanika woke up from her deep slumber and looked outside the window. It was still a bit dark. She checked the clock and sprang up with a jerk. It was already 6 o'clock, and it was her first day after marriage. She didn't want to be late.
She quickly scanned the room but there was no sign of Dheer. This meant he had woken up before her. She sighed, "Did he even sleep?"
She grabbed her clothes for the day and marched towards the bathroom.
Ruhanika got ready in a beautiful pink not so heavy saree. She loved wearing traditional clothes, even though sarees were a bit hard to handle.

(Imagine her with chudda waistband and mangalsutra)
She put on some jewelry, earrings, her chuda, and not to forget, the vermilion and her mangalsutra. Finally, she completed her look with a beautiful diamond waistband.
She took one last look in the mirror. "As always, you look stunning, Ruhi. Have a fabulous day, love," she smiled at her reflection and started making the bed.
Every morning, she talked to herself. Some called it drama, but she called it self-love.
As she was about to leave the room, she noticed a paper on the nightstand under a pen. She took a closer look and was shocked. It was a recipe for kheer, and she knew it was from Dheer. She smiled, relieved that she didn't have to worry about her first rasoi.
She read the recipe again and again to memorize it. It was the easiest recipe she had ever gotten. She thanked Dheer mentally and left the room to start her new day.
Ruhanika greeted the elders and joined them for the pooja, but there was no sign of Kian or Dheer.
"Ruhanika beta, today is your first rasoi. Just make something sweet and the servants will handle the breakfast," said Mamta ji, caressing her hair.
"Okay, Mom," Ruhanika replied, taking charge.
"Bhagwanji, please do some magic and make my first rasoi special, okay?" Ruhanika whispered to God.
(Little did she know how her prayers would make her first rasoi super duper special. 🤭)
With that, she started preparing the kheer.
After a while, her phone buzzed but she was busy. Suddenly, someone answered the call and put it on her ear. She looked sideways and saw Kian with a bright bunny smile on his face.
"Hello, Ruhi, are you still sleeping? For God's sake, wake up! It's your first day at your in-laws'. Don't let them know that you're a sleeping pig," came the voice of Ishaan from the other side of the call.
"Bhaiiii, how dare you? How can you say something like that?" Ruhanika replied angrily. "For your kind information, I am already in the kitchen for my first rasoi after the pooja."
