                POV: 1st person, Tyler

Although it might seem unlikely, I'm not going into the flower shop owned by Logan and his grandparents every Sunday to get flowers for someone else. Every time I go, I get the same flowers, and they sit on my desk in my room every week. And no, before you assume anything, I do not like Logan, nor am I gay. I just like the smell of the flowers. They sit on my desk as I do my homework, the fragrance tickling my nose and reminding me of- nature. Not Logan, nature. I do NOT like Logan.

           POV: 1st person, Logan

Tyler comes in every Sunday, the day that I work at the register and helping customers. I'm not sure why, but it makes me think he might have a thing for me... Nobody in the friend group knows I'm gay, at least- I haven't told any of them. Taylor brought it up one time in a discussion, saying that if any one of us was secretly gay, it would be me. We laughed about it the whole night, making jokes and such, but I just remember feeling so terrified in that moment. It's not like I don't think they won't be supportive if I come out, it's just that- I'm still scared. And... I don't really know why.

                   POV: 3rd person
          The Flower Shop, Sunday

Tyler walks in through the doors and breathes in the scent of flowers, calming him as he walks up to the register and leans against it. He looks at Logan, smiling at him and speaking,

"Anyone interesting come in today?"

Logan looks at him happily, excited that his favorite customer finally came in.

"Nope, not today. You just looking for the usual?"

Logan asks, walking around the desk to Tyler's favorite flowers.

"Of course, you know it."

Tyler responds, walking over with him.

"Did I ever tell you that these were my favorite flowers?"

Logan mentions, picking up the flowers and examining them to make sure they were good to sell.

Tyler remembers why he got the flowers in the first place, and stands up taller, fixing his posture.

"Oh- um, I think it may have come up before..."

          *FLASHBACK TIME!! ;>*

The group sat in a circle on the bus, talking about random things to pass the time.

"Ooo! I got a good one!" Aiden shouts.

Ashlyn flinches slightly and covers her ears, she was sitting close to Aiden and instantly regretted it.

"Oh-" Aiden rests his arm on Ashlyn's shoulder, "Sorry Ash,"

"I'm alright- you were saying?" Ashlyn says, adjusting her earbuds.

Aiden lights up again and turns to everybody else, "What is everybody's favorite flower?"

Everyone looked at each other, not know who would start.

Logan spoke up first, "Well, I know a lot about flower shops, since my grandparents own one and I work there every Saturday and Wednesday... But, I would have to say Orchids, since they remind me of people. They come in different colors, but they are all beautiful in their own way."

To everybody else, that sounded like a sweet quote- but to Tyler, it sounded like this-

"Blah blah blah... I work at a flower shop on Sundays... I love Orchids... so beautiful... smart stuff..."

           *FLASHBACK OVER :>*

"Oh- um, I think it may have come up before..." Tyler responds as Logan hands him the small bouquet of Orchids.

Logan smiles brightly at Tyler, looking at other customers coming in.

"On the house today- I have to get to these people. See you tonight!" He waves as he walks up to the customers.

Tyler stands there for a moment, zoned out, before realizing that he needs to get home to make dinner. He walks out the door and waves to Logan, shutting the door behind him and looking down at the flowers in his hands as he walks home.
