The Xilmaris Royal Family. The most famous Royal Family out there, besides the Original Royal family. They known to be very caring toward their people and extremely merciless toward their enemies. All four of them have raven black hair and bright blue eyes. The women have a slightly pale complexion the men have a slight tan to their skin. The reason being si that the women like staying inside and the men liked practicing their swordsmanship outside with their fellow knights.
Y/n was staring at the family. She was completely infatuated by their beauty. One thought popped in her head to sum up how she was feeling. Why the fuck are they all hot? She wanted to know if this was normal for Royal Families. Are they all this beautiful? Despite living in the Kingdom for a decade, she never seen them in the person. Some people don't.
"May I ask why nobody had informed us about our florist?" The King's voice had echoed throughout the room, making the servants flinch.
Y/n heard footsteps to her right and looked over. She saw the butler from earlier walk over toward the Royal family. Syvis walked up to the front of the stairs and bowed toward the family.
"Syvis! Where is the florist?"
"She is currently settling in the chambers that were prepared for her, Your Majesty."
"Good to hear, " The King looked over to his wife for a moment before turning his attention back to the butler and the servants, "Please inform me as to why no one informed us that she was arriving today?"
Y/n didn't like the tone the King was using toward the servants. She stood up straight and answered his question, "Because she didn't let anyone one know ahead of time."
It had gone silent in the room. Everyone was wondering who had answered the King in such a informal way. They knew it was a woman just by the voice alone. The servants wanted to look around to see who had spoke while the Royal family had freely looked around in front of them.
"May I ask who has spoke to me in such a insolent way?"
Y/n walked toward the line of servants. She walked into the line as she walked past two female servants, who were bowing while keeping their heads down, and turned to face the Royal family as she stood in the middle of the carpet. She took a couple of steps forward before stopping so she was close enough for the family to see her. The butler was off to side of the stairs and a couple of feet away from Y/n.
The butler was going to introduce the family to the woman standing in front of them but the Queen had stopped him from doing so when she spoke, "Why are you talking to us like that?"
"Why?" Y/n crossed her arms again and answered the Queen's question in a more polite tone, "I apologize if I came off as rude, I just didn't like how you were speaking to your servants. They were too busy getting everything ready for Princess Ulesse's birthday ball that they didn't notice that your Florist had walked into the castle. Plus," Y/n had showed no emotion while speaking to the King and Queen, "She didn't let anyone know ahead of time that she was coming today."
"How do you know that?" The Prince asked, making the rest of his family look at her with curiosity as well.
"Oh, my deepest apologies Your Majesties," Y/n put on a fake guilty expression on her face as she bowed with one arm against her lower back and the other against her stomach, "Greetings Your Majesties," She stood up straight with her arms resting by her sides, "Y/n L/n, at your service."
The Florist?
The entire family was surprised that the woman in front of them is their florist. They had thought she was an elderly woman who had set her shop up in their Kingdom. She is a young woman who looks to be in her teens and looks to be human.
The family looked at each other before the King cleared his throat, "Y/n, we apologize for our reactions but-"
"You thought I was an elderly woman?"
The servants were surprised that the florist had interrupted the King. The butler was nervous for the woman in front of them. He looked over at the King and saw that he and the Queen was smiling.
"Yes," The Queen liked how brazen the woman in front of them were, "that is correct."
"I'm guessing that I've disappointed you by this fact," Y/n noticed the butler's face, "Your Majesties?"
"No," The Queen was quick with her answer, "Quite the opposite in fact."
Y/n smiled, "That's good to hear."
"If I may," Everyone's attention was pulled toward a male servant who had stood up and was staring at the young florist next to him, "What is your age, My Lady?"
My Lady?
Y/n didn't like the sound of that but she put on another fake smile, "I'm twenty-six."
"Twenty-six?!" The Princess had blurted out.
She quickly apologized and went back to be composed. She wasn't the only person who was surprised by the florist's age. She had looked to be in her teens in everyone's eyes. Y/n wasn't sure what everyone was thinking. She didn't know if she should take that reaction in a positive or negative way.
"Y/n." The Queen's voice was soft and gentle when she called the florist's name out.
"Yes, Your Majesty?"
"Please come toward me," Y/n complied and walked up the stairs. She stood on the top step, staring at the Queen, "Closer."
Y/n took a step forward but the question told her to get closer again. She kept saying it until Y/n was directly in front of her. The Queen smiled up at the florist who has given them many beautiful flowers over the past decade. The Queen reached her hand out and placed it on Y/n's cheek, making her flinch back.
This reaction made the Queen concerned. Why did the young woman in front of her flinch by the slightest touch of her hand? Her first thought was that Y/n was scared of them but what had just happened with her this past fifteen minutes, she knew that the young woman wasn't scared. The queen had thought of many negative thoughts as to why the florist would have flinch.
"Honey?" The Queen snapped out of thoughts by her husband's voice, "Are you okay?"
The Queen nodded her yes and pulled her hand away from Y/n's face. Everyone was in silence for a couple of minutes before Y/n asked, "May I be excused?"
The King looked over at the woman, "Yes, you may," Y/n turned around and scurried down the stairs, "We will have someone get you for dinner tonight." He told her.
Y/n continued walking toward the hallway where her bedroom is located in. She continued until she couldn't anyone's voices. She leaned against a wall and let out a sigh. She placed her hand on her chest where her heart is located and took a deep breath.
That was so close.
She almost saw them.
