Kestrel walked in formation behind Holt while the other two Soldiers walked behind him.
Right now, they are in Global Risk's Secret Base somewhere in Europe. Alex specifically wanted Kestrel to meet him there.
The base looked like a cave system. Technology here and rocks over there. Everybody was doing something, moving while some stopped to see Kestrel and others giving out orders.
As Kestrel was reaching the Command Post, he saw something on the left. Blueprints of a device. Which he would ask Alex about later.
After a while of walking and going through multiple Checkpoints. They finally made it with Holt stepping aside and saying.
Holt: You go in, I'm needed somewhere else.
Kestrel followed in suit, where he saw Alex in the at ease stance looking outside the window, showing nothing but an ocean and the setting sun.
Sir Alex: Kestrel. Took you a while. Thought you weren't planning on coming.
Kestrel: What can I say, this was a busy week for me... And for you too from what I can tell.
Sir Alex: Yes... You're right, it was indeed busy. Come here, I gotta show you something.
Kestrel got beside him as Sir Alex grabbed a tablet and showed him a picture. A device, it was big enough to be an SUV.

Kestrel: What's that?
Sir Alex: Our method to deal with our competition. A few months ago, multiple PMCs and PSCs have been coming to light and they have as many assets as we have but not the level of research as we do. So we came up with an idea to destroy them. This device. Called "Tempest". This... Environmental Control Unit was made to control the weather. We could cause natural disasters in certain areas. It has been tested and it works.
Kestrel: Since when was this a thing?
Sir Alex: Ever since 2024. The first test was in Greece in 2035. It was successful but NATO Special Ops tried to get the device in their hands. We made sure to silence those who knew by using it on their areas.
Kestrel: I'm guessing the civilian deaths were many...
Sir Alex: A cost I was and still am willing to take. To build our future, our paradise we must make hard choices. Choices that would break any man and woman.
He said as he took a few more steps towards the console of the room and pressing a few things.
