May❤️& Drew💚: Battle partners!

A "Sick" Drew💚 (Part 2).

~{Chapter 7}~*This chapter is about when Drew gets sick during a practice contest battle with May, his girlfriend❤️as he collapses on the ground not feeling well. So, of course, May took care of him cause she wanted nothing for Drew, her boyfriend to get better more than anything. I hope you like it, Enjoy!*

*In the forest, near Route 21*
*10:oo a.m.*
"Masquerain use Silverwind and then combine it with water gun!" Drew said calling out the next attack to finish his contest one one one practice battle. Because for some reason, he felt like he was sweating for some reason. And knew that he had to lie down, but didn't want to pause the battle. "Beauitfly counter attack that attack with Psychic and send it back!" May said countering her boyfriend's combination with a psychic attack. Until he felt weak in the knees as Flygon quickly caught its trainer before he hit the ground with its big wings and claws. "Drew, what's wrong? Are you okay?" May said quickly running to him to make sure that her boyfriend was "okay" but he obviously wasn't when he had a "dizzy spell". Then, she placed her hand on his forehead and gasped in shock, and said. "Oh, no. You have a fever! Drew, you're burning up. Come on, Flygon let's get him to bed I mean the tent." May said to flygon. Then, they were inside the tent and she placed Drew down on the blankets, pillows, and covers to be comfortable when he regained consciousness so, she immediately grabbed a washcloth but it wasn't cold enough to bring down his fever as she said because of it. "Oh, no. Drew's fever is getting worse. We have to cool it down somehow. Oh, I know. Glaceon and Warotle come on out, I need your help!" May said stating the obvious of Drew's condition and had an idea💡in mind to help low his fever. Then, she quickly brought out her water type and ice type Pokemon by combining their
"ice beams" together to freeze the water in the bucket🪣in making more ice🧊. "Okay, great! That's good. Thanks, you guys." May said. Then, she soaked the washcloth in the bucket of ice to get really "cold" and then placed it on Drew's forehead to help with his fever. And you know what it worked! "Good, we finally got that fever down. Thanks for your help you two," May said relieved that Drew's fever down while thanking her Pokemon for assisting her as she just watched her boyfriend sleep soundly for a bit and sitting by his side until he wakes up.

*An hour later*
Drew regained consciousness as his sight was a little blurry and then cleared up in a few minutes as he saw May in a "blurry" picture and then his vision cleared up as he said to her because of it. "May? What's going on? What happened?" Drew asked the obvious question. "Drew, you fainted during our battle and you been out for about an hour. I think you might be sick. Flygon caught you just in time before you fainted and I've been taking care of you since then. Also, with the help of our Pokemon and Roserade & Flygon were so worried about you and so have I. So, how do you feel?" May explained and asked her boyfriend how he's feeling now. "I see, well, that makes sense. I appreciate you taking care of me in my time of need. But I-I... (Coughs)," Drew said weakly feeling a little bit "better" but still felt *bad* groaning in pain. "It's okay, Drew. I'm here for you," May said committed to helping

"It's going to be "okay" Roserade, I know you're worried about Drew I am too. There has to be something we can do to bring down the fever and I have a feeling ice won't do the trick like it did for me "last week" also, the bad news is that there's no supplies or drug stores near by. So, I guess I have to do this the old fashioned way that Brock taught me.
Roserade get me this flower it has medical healing properties! That should bring down Drew's fever," May said
Roserade nodded in agreement and immediately left to find the herb that May was talking about that would help its trainer.

*Two hours later*
"Stay with me Drew, everything's going to be "okay". I will stay by your side til you are better again... just as you stood by me in my illness State so, I'll stay by your side no matter what. Come on, Roserade, hurry up. He needs "Us"," May said thought💭out loud trying to bring down his fever somehow while waiting patiently until Roserade comes back with the herb🌿that she asked her. "May, I appreciate you taking care of me but you shouldn't get too close to me I don't want you to get sick too." Drew said weakly. "I was sick "last week" Drew, so, I'm basically immune to your illness. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. You just worrying about getting better!" May said to Drew that he shouldn't worry about her at all and only about himself. He smiled at her. Luckily, Roserose came just in time handing "May" the rare herb as she said. "Perfectly timing! Roserade, thank you so much! Okay, I'll make the medicine with this herb🌿while you look after Drew," May said grateful that Roserade finally made it with the rare herb that she asked for and asked it to keep an eye on Drew until she finished making the medicine for him to feel a lot better. Roserade nodded in agreement. Then, she immediately crushed up the herb🌿while adding oran, wiki, figy, pecha, and lum berries into the mix making an liquid medicine for "Drew" to make it taste better and easier to swallow too. After that, it was finished as she poured one ounce of the medicine into a spoon🥄and said. "Here, Drew, drink this. It'll make you feel better! I promise," May said giving him the medicine.

*Late at night🌃*
*Midnight🕛*
Moments later, the medicine worked like a "charm" Drew woke up feeling better already stretching out of his sleeping bag inside the tent⛺️and noticed that May must have fallen asleep staying up all night and taking care of him all "night" long. "Thank you, May, you're the best girlfriend ever. Good night sweet "dreams," Drew said whispering into May's ear kissing his girlfriend on the forehead grateful for her kindness and support in nursing him back to health. Then, he went right back to sleep😴. She smiled in her sleep when hearing Drew's voice thinking💭that she was dreaming🌌✨about him.

*The next day, in the forest*
*9:55 a.m.*
May stretched her arms awaking from her dream while feeling like she had a the best sleep in "Years"! Drew was already up before she was as he said spoke out at the sight of his girlfriend❤️finally waking up and really wanted to "thank" her for all that May done for him the other day. "Morning, May," Drew said. "Oh, morning! Drew, you're looking and feeling a lot better today!" May said relieved that her boyfriend is feeling better already. "Well, May, I wanted to thank you for taking good care of me yesterday when I was sick. That medicine of mashed berries and herbs really did the trick! I had no idea that you were so good and amazing at that," Drew said impressed with May's berries mixing and crushing skills to nurse him back to health. "You're welcome! Drew, of course I took care of you when you were "sick" cause I love you. And you know I've had a lot of practice with making pokeblock." May said. "I love you too, May," Drew replied back sweetly. Then, they shared an epic romantic morning kiss of "passion"! After that, they had breakfast together as a couple left over from the last meal they had together at a restaurant in the "city" while giving their Pokemon specially-made food for their types. It was the "perfect" morning for a lovely breakfast for May❤️and Drew💚!
