Eclipsed Realms

Introduction

In the beginning, there was only the void. An infinite expanse of empty space where no light nor shadow existed. One day, Zenithar was formed, a universe made for eternal balance. Cosmic entities in this universe knew the only way to create balance was through creating opposing forces. Thus began the birth of Light and Darkness.

Light emerged first, bringing warmth, life, and clarity to the void. As light spread its luminous tendrils across the universe, it encountered resistance from the Dark shadows born from the void itself. Where Light desired to illuminate, Darkness desired to consume. The eternal struggle between Light and Dark began as each tried to dominate the newborn universe.

The cosmic entities watched as chaos took over. Together, they forged a rule proclaiming: balance between Light and Darkness must be maintained throughout the existence of Zenithar. To achieve this, they severed the fabric of reality, dividing the world into two realms. One bathed in eternal daylight, while the other hid in perpetual darkness.

From the radiant energies of Light, emerged the Kingdom of Solara, a realm of dazzling cities, enchanted forests, and majestic mountains. Ruled by the brave King Leopold and his bright Queen Celestia, Solara flourished under the sunlight.

Across from the bright Kingdom stood the realm of The Dark World, a land cloaked in darkness and disorder. King Soren and the powerful Queen Lilith looked over the realm, allowing shadows to dance and wind to howl between the towering obsidian spires covering the Kingdom.

Though separated, Solara and The Dark World remained intricately linked, their destinies intertwined in the forceful balance that sustained the universe. On one fateful day the two Kingdoms received a gift from the cosmic entities of Zenithar. The royal family of Solara welcomed the birth of Stella, a brave and joyful princess, crowned to someday rule the Kingdom. On this same day, The Dark Kingdom welcomed Kieran, a dark and guarded prince, inherited to take the throne.

Though the universe warned the realms that a time would come when the balance between Light and Dark would falter. When the opposing forces lose their control, the universe will fall into a cataclysmic battle that will decide the fate of all existence.
