Caitlin Snow entered her apartment tiredly. She tossed her purse onto the nearby chair and walked to the bathroom, taking off her watch and jewelry. It had been a long day and she had a lot on her mind. She just wanted a nice, warm shower to ease the tension she was feeling.

Caitlin undressed and entered her shower, turning the temp to high. She put on a lavish squirt of shampoo and brushed through her hair. Over time, eventually slowed down and stopped. Her mind was racing. She just couldn't get the memories out of her head.

The young brunette just stood there, letting the water cascade over her. She was lost in memories that she now considered too painful to enjoy. She remembered Ronnie's face, the sweet sound of his voice when he proposed to her. She remembered their last Christmas together, cuddled up on the couch and eating sugar cookies.

Then, Caitlin's memories began to feel odd. It wasn't just like she was remembering them. It was as if she could physically see them. Flashes of memories with Ronnie raced through her head. Their first meeting, their first kiss, his "death", his betrayal.

Caitlin started to panic. She couldn't stop. It was like some unseen force were fishing the memories from her head. Her heart raced and she started to feel cold.

Caitlin then realized that it wasn't just her memories that were making her cold. The water hitting her back started to feel cold as well. Ice cold.

Turning around, Caitlin started to see frost appear out of nowhere. She looked down only to see a thin layer of fog streaming from her hands. The shower faucet froze, the warm water becoming icicles.

Caitlin gasped in shock. When she did, a stream of cold air escaped her mouth. Caitlin immediately hopped out of the shower, covering herself in a towel to warm herself up.

She turned to look at herself in the mirror and was shocked by what she saw. Her lips were ice blue. A few strands of her hair had turned from her natural brown to a ghostly white.

Caitlin looked at her reflection, panicking. She looked at her white strands of hair. Suddenly, she heard a voice call out to her. It spoke directly into her mind. It was a deep, raspy voice.
