About a week ago (today being 7/4/24) I read this new book called "Tangled Up in You" by Christina Lauren. Since that book is a modern retelling of Tangled, it was no surprise how Sokeefe-coded the romance was. But while I was reading it, I was like, I have to steal this plot for a Sokeefe AU. While the plot is no longer reminiscent in any way of the original Tangled storyline now that it's reached my beloved Sophie and Keefe, I still named the fic "Living in a Blur" after a line from "I See the Light" as a nod to the Disney movie that spiraled and filtered into this AU.
So while as usual I will be crediting Shannon Messenger with all of the characters, I want to credit the writing duo Christina Lauren for the premise of this one.
I posted the first chapter on AO3 last Thursday, establishing Thursday updates, and recently re-discovered my Wattpad, transferring over all 21 currently published chapters of my other ongoing Sokeefe au, Mirrored Conflicts (updates Sundays). So I figured, why not post this fic here too?
Update: as of 8/31/24 updates are now on Saturdays instead of Thursdays
