Hitting the Wall
Author: Cate C. Wells

This book explores the dynamics of a wealthy family in a small town, bringing to light the corruption and secrets that lie beneath the surface. The portrayal of autism in both children and adults is handled with sensitivity and depth, making the characters feel real and relatable. The story has an amazing buildup, combining elements of romance and mystery. Kellum, the male lead, is a complex character with his flaws, which are revealed gradually throughout the book. The narrative is compelling, though there are some plot holes and the ending doesn't quite live up to the dramatic intensity of the rest of the story. Despite this, it's a captivating read.
