The sun filtered through the hospital room's curtains, casting a warm glow that contrasted sharply with the sterile white walls. Y/N sat up slowly, feeling the stiffness in her muscles but also the lightness of a burden finally lifted. Taehyung was still by her side, his head resting on the bed, asleep from exhaustion.

She gently touched his hair, her heart swelling with gratitude and affection. Taehyung stirred, lifting his head and blinking sleepily. When his eyes met hers, he smiled.

"Good morning," he said softly.

"Good morning," she replied. "How long have you been here?"

"Since they brought you in. I wasn't leaving you alone," he said, a determined glint in his eyes.

Just then, Jihoon and Minho entered the room, carrying breakfast and coffee. "Look who's awake!" Jihoon said, his face lighting up with a grin.

"We thought you might be hungry," Minho added, setting the food on the small table beside the bed.

Y/N's stomach growled, reminding her she hadn't eaten properly in days. "Thank you," she said, gratefully accepting the coffee Jihoon handed her.

As they ate, the atmosphere was light, filled with the camaraderie that had grown between them through shared danger and triumph. The conversation was peppered with laughter and teasing, a welcome relief after the intense days they had endured.

After being discharged from the hospital, Y/N, Taehyung, Jihoon, and Minho headed to the prosecutor's office to finalize their statements. The evidence they had collected was more than sufficient to charge Kang Dae-Jung and his associates.

The prosecutor, a stern yet kind woman named Park Eun-Ji, greeted them. "You've done an incredible job," she said, reviewing the files. "This case will set a precedent. We'll make sure Kang and his network are dismantled."

Y/N felt a sense of closure as they signed the final documents. It was over. The man who had haunted their lives was now facing justice, thanks to their relentless pursuit.

To celebrate their victory and newfound freedom, the team decided to visit a small café they had passed many times during their planning. The cozy atmosphere and delicious aromas welcomed them, a stark contrast to the tension and danger they had faced.

They found a corner booth, ordered their drinks, and relaxed into the comfort of normalcy. For the first time in what felt like forever, they could talk about their future, their dreams, and their plans without the shadow of Kang looming over them.

"I've been thinking," Jihoon said, stirring his coffee. "Maybe it's time for a vacation. Somewhere far away from all this."

Minho laughed. "I second that. How about a beach? Somewhere with no internet, no phone signals, just the ocean and us."

Y/N and Taehyung exchanged glances. The idea was tempting. After everything, a break seemed not just desirable but necessary.

"What do you think?" Taehyung asked Y/N, his eyes hopeful.

She smiled. "I think it sounds perfect."
