Chapter 4: Into the Lion's Den

Time: Afternoon

The safe house buzzed with activity as Y/N, Taehyung, Jihoon, and Minho strategized their next move. The former associate of Kang Dae-Jung, now under their protection, had provided invaluable information, but the final push to bring Kang down required precision and caution.

Jihoon spread out a detailed map of the city on the kitchen table. "Kang has a meeting scheduled with several key players at his main compound tomorrow night. This is our best chance to catch him red-handed."

Minho nodded, his eyes scanning the map. "We need to hit him hard and fast, gather evidence, and get out before he realizes what's happening."

Y/N leaned over the map, tracing the route to the compound with her finger. "What kind of security are we looking at?"

"High-end," Jihoon replied. "Armed guards, surveillance cameras, the works. We'll need to disable the security system to get in undetected."

"I can handle the tech," Taehyung said. "But we'll need a distraction to pull it off."

Minho grinned. "Leave that to me. I have a few tricks up my sleeve."

Location: Kang Dae-Jung's Compound
Time: Midnight

The compound loomed in the darkness, an imposing fortress guarded by menacing figures with rifles slung across their shoulders. Y/N, Taehyung, Jihoon, and Minho approached from different angles, each moving with practiced stealth.

Minho took position near the entrance, setting up a series of small explosives designed to create chaos without causing significant damage. At the signal, he detonated them, sending guards rushing towards the commotion.

As the distraction unfolded, Taehyung moved swiftly to a side panel, hacking into the security system. With deft fingers, he disabled the cameras and alarms, creating a window of opportunity for the team.

"Go," Taehyung whispered into his earpiece. "We're clear."

Y/N and Jihoon slipped inside, navigating the dimly lit corridors. They reached the main office, where Kang was meeting with his associates. Through a crack in the door, Y/N could see the men discussing business, unaware of the intrusion.

"We need to record this," Jihoon whispered, setting up a small camera to capture the conversation.

As they gathered evidence, the door creaked open, and a guard entered. Y/N's heart raced. They were exposed.

Thinking quickly, she stepped out, feigning confidence. "I'm lost. Can you help me find the exit?"

The guard, momentarily taken aback, frowned. "This area is off-limits. Who are you?"

Before he could react, Jihoon incapacitated him with a swift blow to the neck, dragging him into the shadows. "We need to move, now."

They continued to gather evidence, documenting Kang's dealings and capturing incriminating conversations. The risk was high, but the stakes were higher.

Location: Outside Kang Dae-Jung's Compound
Time: Early Morning

The team regrouped outside the compound, the first light of dawn breaking over the horizon. They had the evidence they needed, but the mission was far from over.

"Good work, everyone," Minho said, clapping Taehyung on the back. "Now we need to get this to the authorities."

Y/N nodded, her heart still pounding from the adrenaline. "We need to be careful. Kang will retaliate if he finds out what we've done."
