“Eva!” I got up from my place at the back of the warehouse and walked over to Jack. All the henchmen had either gone home or walked outside for a short break.
“Help me here.” he had a whole plan mapped out for getting Batman. We weren’t planning on killing him, but we planned to break him.
I looked at his plan, he planned on getting several hostages in the middle of Gotham City and fight it out with Batman then and there, having people sneak up behind him and knock him out.
“This is so bold, even for you.” I sighed. “First of all, why don’t we take the hostages and hold them up in a different building? Like the police department? If we take over the police department, we have no worries of the cops getting involved because they’ll be taken care of already. We’ve been in the office long enough to tell where everything is located at, meaning we can raid them of their guns and the henchmen can do some reconnaissance work. Then, we can video tape this on the main television they are setting up in the heart of Gotham City at 6:00 next week on Wednesday, catching everyone’s attention, including Batman’s. We can trap him then by locking him in the station, then you can have your fun.”
He grinned, then kissed me. “I love you, doll.” he held me close, my hips against him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him softly.
“I love you too, baby.” I breathed softly, looking up at him. I really did love him, he was the best man out there for me and he loved me for me.
I ran my fingers through his hair, then kissed his scars.
“You’re perfect.” I said truthfully, he held me tighter.
“I’m far from it.”
“No, you’re not.”
“I am far from it, dear, trust me.” he sighed. I kissed him, silencing him. He didn’t protest, but kissed back.
“To me, you’re perfect. You’re wonderful, all that I want.” my eyes were locked with his now.
“You deserve better.” he said quietly, I had never heard him speak like that. I frowned.
“You deserve a man who can settle down with you, who can have kids with you and-“
“I don’t need to settle down. I tried once, it didn’t happen. You and I can be together, have kids and everything.” I said, smiling softly.
“I don’t know if I want kids.”
My smile fell, I sighed. “Why not?”
“I’ll be a terrible father.” he looked down.
“No, you won’t. You’ll be a good father-“ I suddenly got dizzy. “Woah, I got to sit down....”
He sighed. “Go home, I’ll stay here and continue working.”
“You sure?” I asked.
“He sighed. “Better yet, I’ll drop you off at home. Come on. Yes I’m sure.” he said, bringing me to the van. I followed, holding tightly onto his hand. Rajan got up from his slumber and followed us, hopping into the back of the van.
I didn’t really know what was wrong with me, but it was starting to greatly worry me, and Jack as well. I played it off as if nothing was wrong.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be a-okay.” I giggled convincingly, trying not to smack my head on the window, since the world seemed to want to spin in that certain direction.
“Were you feeling okay this morning?” he asked, speeding up a little. It was 12 at night, and no one was on the streets at this hour.
“Yeah, I was feeling perfect this morning.” I sighed.
“Well I’ll have some henchmen watch you.” he said worriedly, then dropped me off at home. I blew him a kiss, then walked into the house, falling over a little. I walked upstairs to the bedroom and fell onto the bed, thinking.
I had a normal lunch and dinner, nothing too bad there. I hadn’t been doing anything too bad lately, I did have random times during the week when I’d feel sick though. There wasn’t much to get from this whole situation.
I didn’t have my period yet, so it was probably just the feeling of that.
I sighed, nearly jumping when I felt the side of the bed next to me cave in.
Rajan rested his head gently on my tummy, I started gently petting him.
I sighed. “What is wrong with me?”
Rajan started nuzzling my tummy, I giggled.
“Yeah, a stomach ache, now stop it.” I joked, Rajan licked my hand and obeyed my command, laying back down.
