writing

 writing is something i particularly enjoy doing but man, it's such a pain sometimes. 

don't get me wrong, i understand that it's my choice to write and that writing itself is not easy, but sometimes technicalities make me wanna scream. 

one example is writer's block.  

okay so writer's block can have many different aspects, such as the lack of an incentive. like i could have an idea for a smashing au, but my laziness and no motivation means the piece of literature may never be written. 

on that note, having an idea doesn't always equal a #1 best-seller in the new york times. sometimes ideas can only remain ideas until the author can work out all the details. 

i can't even begin to tell you the amount of au ideas, general stories, and fanfiction i've come up with at like 4am, and having to bury those ideas in the catacombs of my brain.  

like this happens all. the. time. 

i begin to write some harry styles fanfic, then the whole story abruptly stops. the reason it stops is because i don't know how to make the story flow, since i either add too much detail and complicate the work, or i have no details to share to make the story exciting. 

this either means i am a crappy writer, or i'm diagnosed with an author's worst nightmare-- writer's block.
