I came back to the island about three hours later, calling for my parents. As I was heading for our cave, I found Lighter.
"Lighter, where are my parents?" I asked him.
He looked at me. Scared at first, then sad. " I'm so sorry, Fury. I had to tell Her. She would've killed my family if She had learned I knew."
I left him there to get to the cave. Mom was laying at the entrance of the cave, dead. I went in, hoping dad was still alive, he was.
"Dad! Dad wake up, please." I said when I was sure he was still alive.
He opened his eyes and looked at me. He said, "Fury, I am glad that you have been spared from Whisper's wrath. You must leave now and never come back."
"No." I stated. " I'm not leaving you. I don't care if I have to fight Her herself."
"No, you won't. It- it isn't your t- time yet. Save.... your- yourself... f- from the life......that we have......... gi- given you. Remember the Legend o- of th- the Night......... Fury." That was the last thing I heard any of my parents say.
I took them to the highest part of the island and burned them. After it was done, I headed back down to where the other dragons hang out.
