THE HEADMASTER FROM HELL

Part 2 - SEAN THE PUNISHER

Liam reported for early morning detention the next day with the 1000 lines completed. It had taken hours and had been particularly slow with having to change the pen constantly. His wrist ached very badly

When he got to school he went to wait outside Sean's classroom and there was another boy there waiting. This boy was younger than Liam. Liam was 15 and the boy waiting looked only 11 or 12

''Hey man'' Liam said to the other boy

''Yo'' the boy said

''You got early morning detention too then?'' Liam asked him

The boy grinned and nodded his head ''Yeah i had to write 1000 lines last night'' he said

''Same here'' Liam said ''My wrist kills''

''Mine too'' the other boy said ''So much worse having to keep using different colours''

''So did you get them all done then?''

''Oh yeah. Took hours but yes. Did you?''

Liam nodded his head ''Man can you imagine what sort of punishment he'd give us if we didn't do them? I mean man he is clearly strict to an insane level''

''Punishment would probably be detention for life'' the other boy said with another smirk

They both started to laugh

''What's your name anyway?'' Liam asked the boy

''I'm James'' the boy said

''Cool. I'm Liam. I've never seen you before''

''We in different years that's why. I'm in year 7 and you year 10'' James told him ''We keep out of your way most of the time us year 7's because we know you older boys don't want to talk to us or hang out with us'' 

''Well today we're punishment partners'' Liam said with a grin

''Punishment partners yes i like it and yes we are'' James said      

''You seem cool anyway even for a year 7'' Liam said ''I mean its good to be able to have a laugh with someone about it. It would be easy to moan and feel sorry for ourselves after we had to do all those lines but instead we're both able to laugh about it''

Suddenly they heard footsteps nearby

''That's him'' James whispered

At once both boys moved from the casual way they were standing and stood upright with their hands behind their backs as if they were soldiers standing to attention. They knew Sean would not like it if he saw them chatting casually

Sean arrived with a smile

''Morning boys'' he said

''Morning Sir'' they both said together

Sean opened the door to the classroom and they went inside. Sean sat at his desk and the two boys stood in front of him 

''Now then did you two complete your lines?'' Sean asked them

''Yes Sir'' Liam Said

''Yes Sir'' James said

''Let's see them then''

The boys got their lines out from their bags and handed them over. Sean began to look at them

''I must check them to make sure they are completed and done properly'' he said ''You will both stand there in silence while i complete my check''

Time went by while Sean examined the lines. After almost an hour the two boys had aching backs from standing so long. Sean sat back in his chair with a smile
