Almost five years later, that sounds scary to say, I'm now nineteen and I can admit I've progressed a lot more. I wasn't consistent with the book, the ideas were scattered all over the place. The beginning was a complete mess. Thank you to everyone who supported me from the beginning where I couldn't tell the difference between their, they're and there.

This is the longest and hardest book I've written. I love all the critics, even the mathematicians of Big Girls Don't Cry who managed to calculate Langston's age in the depths of thirty chapters, you are the real MVPs. I'm only realising how complicated it is now that I'm looking at it. I tried to fit it into one book. There was just so much to fit in. I don't want to spoil it, but I just want to make sure people understand that L'Aysia represents not only black women, but women of other colours, shapes, sizes and religion. She's a woman who's been broken and hurt by life, and she also represents a woman who's known and learned with time how to overcome trials and tests in life.

Langston represents men who've also come a long way, men who've haven't had the best childhood, men who've gone the wrong way in life born into a series of struggles and pain but he also represents men who have learned to overcome and grow out of their past.

This is a biased comment, but this is book is on a whole new level, like i never experred it myself. I'll stop yapping, just after I also encourage you to check out Nostalgia! Some of you probably didn't get to read it because I didn't keep it up for long on here. If you love Khasharni and want to know the story behind her life, Nostalgia and Compton Collections (if you love Andreu too) is a must. I won't even spoil that one, because you have to read it for yourself. Nostalgia is one of my favourite books after Big Girls Don't Cry, young_simba actually encouraged me to write it, I wasn't going to at first, shallout to her, I won't disclose your government name, you the real MVP. Shallout to owlvspussycat, Amber, AfricanHumminBird and Aabirah, you are the real MVPs too.

Thank you Wattpad for the opportunity to do something I thought I was never good enough to do.
