Sonny knew she was lucky. Maybe her time as a foster kid wasn't ideal, and maybe it had left her more fucked up than she ever even realised, but having three parents who adored her was something a lot of kids would die to have. Kids that she knew, too. All over the island.

Good parents were hard to come by. Maybe she should've appreciated hers more. Gone home and told them. But that would mean going without John B, and she wasn't prepared for that. Not when he was still out on the island somewhere. Not when it was his home too.
