Andy looked at his gun in horror. Never in his life did he ever use the gun on a living human being. Abhi looked on shocked as Karan came out of no where and pushed the phoenix out of harm's way. The phoenix dodged the bullet by mere seconds.
"Freeze" Karan trained the gun at the phoenix and came between the boys and him. With a swift and decisive motion, the Phoenix lunged forward, his hand striking like a serpent, pushing the Karan's weapon aside. The gun clattered to the floor, breaking the momentary silence. The Phoenix grabbed the gun with the grace of a trained fighter. Karan pushed the boys behind his back firmly. He knew it was a show, but Andy did not know it. He did not want the boy doing something he would regret for life.
The door of the open barged open wide as Roohi rushed inside with the security team. She took one look at the scene unfolding and reached for her gun.
"Don't move" Roohi hissed as she moved to take on the Phoenix. With a swift lunge she aimed to secure his arm. But he was quicker, sidestepping her advance with a fluid grace that spoke of years of training. With a deft push, he sent her staggering back. Surprise flashed in her eyes as she realized she was taking on an ordinary intruder.
The security surrounded the man, but she could see the confident stand. 12 guns were aimed at him and yet he remained unfrazzled.
"who are you?" She stepped closer.
