today is my sisters high school graduation. she is a year older than me. my parents obviously had a lot of fun in 2000...
my sister and I go to EPS, (Edwardsville private school).
our BIGGEST rival is EHS, (Edwardsville high school), which is the public school in our town.
even though our rivalry is long lasting, we still have to graduate together. it's been a tradition for 50 years.
edwardsville high school also can't afford to graduate somewhere else.
I walk in and sit down. my parents sit next to me.
I look around and see the public school kids. I search the familiar faces.

Kate Martin.
Kate Martin is a three star who is headed to iowa for basketball. we hate each other.
a few years ago, all of the eighth graders and freshman went to Washington DC. we got roomed together and I couldn't stand her.
she's a mess! her voice is so annoying and she talks about basketball way too much.
she makes eye contact with me and we both glare.
why would I commit to iowa?
