*Ella's POV*
I stand in front of the mirror admiring the good job that my mom had done on my hair. Today was the day that Seth was taking me out for our date. He didn't tell me where we were going, it was a surprise. But i've been thinking about it all day. I was never one to be good with surprises but I guess I'll just have to wait.
I decided to wear a nice new red dress that fell just bellow the knee and had a black belt wrapped around the middle. I got it while out shopping with my mom last week in Seattle. To go with it I slipped on my black flats and chose to put on some light makeup. Nothing too much. I never liked makeup, but it was a date.
I finish with the finshing touchs on my lipgloss and then check everything over in the mirror before I hear the door bell coming from down stairs.
"Ella?!" I hear my mom shout from the front room.
"Coming!" I call back, knowing that it's Seth at the door. I grab my purse off my desk and open the door to my bedroom. I slowly make my way down the steps to the front door and take a moment before opening the door to my awaiting date.
*Seth's POV*
I was grateful that Jacob let me borrow his car to pick up Ella for our date today. I drive down the long road toward her house. I take in the scenery and open my window slightly to feel the breeze against my face. I take a deep breath and smile as the scents of the woods fill my nose. The smell always brought a smile to my face because I would think of what it would be like to be a wolf running the woods.
As I approach heer house I sit in the car for a minute, trying to calm my nerves. Why am I nervous. She's just Ella. But that's the problem, she's Ella, The girl I'm in love with...But it took my like what? A month before asking her out? In my defense, I just wanted to make sure she some what liked me back. Gladly she did.
I open my door and make my way across the street to her house. I just wished I was dressed well enough. I was wearing a button down light blue shirt with black dress pants. I made sure to spray cologne on before leaving the house.
I press the doorbell lightly and hear the dinging of it on the other side of the door to alert the family inside that I was here. I step back waiting for the door to open and put my hands in my pocket. I minute later the door pulls beck to reveal a beautiful girl in a red dress.
"Wow...El you look...beautiful." I manage to get out as I admire her. She blushes and I hear someone clear their throat and she steps back so I can see I tall man standing behind her with crossed arms.
"Oh, daddy. This is Seth." She says softly while looking at me and then back at her father. His eyes never left mine. I put my hand out politely.
"I'm Seth sir." I say waiting for him to speak.
"I know." He grunts and looks down at my awaiting hand and then back up to my face. I awkwardly put my hand down and look to the ground a little embarrassed. I hear booming laughter and whip my head up to sit her dad in a laughing fit.
"I'm only joking kid. It's nice to meet you." He unexpectedly pulls me into a suffocating hug. He packs my back causing all the air to rush out of me. He pulls me back and holds me at an arm length away watching me.
"He a looker El." He says as he turns his head towards her behind him.
"Daddy!" I hear her shriek. I chuckle softly as he lets go of my shoulders.
"Okay. Have fun kids. Don't be out to long." He ushers Ella out the door and I turn about to make my way towards the car and motion for her to go ahead. As they say, lady's first.
"Oh and Seth?" I hear her dad ask and I stop mid stride to give my attention to him. "Kepp my daughter safe." I know he was worried and protective about his daughter.
"Of course sir." I nod my head and wave my hand a little before turning back around to see her awaiting at the passenger door waiting for me to unlock the car. I put the key into the hole and unlock her side as I open my door and press the button. I get in and start the engine as she buckles her seat belt. I turn my head to the left to see her dad still standing in the doorway. I beep the horn as we drive away.

After a thirty minute drive I stop in front of a restaurant. The lights glow through the window and we see couples sitting around enjoying their meals. I took her to a place right out side of Port Angeles.
"Oh Seth. Don't you think this is a little much?" I hear her ask. I turn to her and see her frowning.
"Of course not. I would do anything to make this night special for you." I say. She blushes and nods her head.
"Thank You." She says while looking down. Without thinking I put my hand out and lift her chin up.
"Don't hide that pretty face." I smile at her and she blushes and I quickly pull my hand away and open my war. Alright lets go. I walk over to her side and open her door for her.

After a wonderful dinner I pay and we walk to the parking lot to get to the car.
"This was a wonderful night. Thank you." Ella says as she stops in front of the car.
"It's not over yet. I have another surprise."I say and smile as I unlock the door.
"What? There's more?! Oh come on you have to tell me." She says as she takes her seat.
"Nope. You'll just have to wait and see." I start to pull out of the parking lot and drive down the dark road.
