Before we begin, I'd like to give you guys a little guide to help y'all understand my writing style.
1) Dreams and flashbacks will have one + between the writing.
For example:
+ Blah............blah................ blah............... ....................blah.... ......................................blah ...................................................blah. +
There will be a bigger gap space before and after each dream/flashback as well.
2)Instead of repeating the phrase: he/she moaned during conversations, I put a little ~ after each spoken sentence if they're moaning while talking.
For example:
Instead of this - "Oh my god, it feels so good," she/he moaned."
I do this: "Oh my god, it feels so good, ~"
I hope you enjoy and don't forget to vote if you liked it :)Chapter One
"So, what about the design? What does this Luffy guy like, anyway?"
"Uh, he likes meat."
"Should I make him a steak cake, then?"
"A what?"
"We can make him a cake that looks like a piece of steak."
"Oh, that would be cool. Go ahead and go with that. How much would that be?"
"How many people?"
"Just make one big enough for twelve people."
"Okay, it will be about sixty dollars."
"Cool, I'll call the Luffy's brother and tell him. Thanks for your help."
Beep... beep
It was around noon, and I was leaning against my car smoking a cigarette during my break. My best friend, Ace had a little brother with a birthday coming up soon, and since I was a restaurant owner, he begged me to find a good place to get a cake from. I dialed his number and put it on speaker phone as I leaned down to rub my cigarette out on the pavement. I stood back up as he answered.
"Yo!"
"I just put an order in for Luffy's cake."
"What did you order?"
With a grin on my face, I said, "A cake shaped into a big piece of meat."
"You're joking? Oh god, Sabo! Sabo! Come here!"
"Okay well, it's going to be about sixty dollars. So, send it to me the money the morning of his party, and I'll go pick it up.
"Sure- thanks a ton. Oh Sabo, you'll never believe-"
Beep... beep
I slipped my phone into my pocket as I start to head back inside. The regulars standing around out front greeted me kindly, and I waved back as I walked through the doors. Coming into dim lights made it difficult to see for a moment, but once they adjusted, I went table to table to ask the guests if they were enjoying the food and service. Afterwards, I went to the kitchen to help them through the lunch rush.
As was I sautéing some mushrooms in a frying pan, memories from this morning came back to me:
+ Some guy was unlocking the apartment across from mine. He had a bucket, a broom, and a mop with him, obviously going inside to clean it. His appearance took me by surprise only because he looked like an ordinary guy. He wasn't wearing any expensive clothes, and his hair (which was dyed green) looked greasy, like he hadn't showered in a few days.
He had turned around when he heard me close my door. His face turned into a scowl when he saw me gawking at him.
"What's your issue?" he barked.
I had to admit he was fine as hell. The outfit he was wearing (a plain black tank top, some black sweatpants, and a pair of black boots) suited him very well, and the tattoos all over his body made him look even yummier.
