System Control 1: Substitute

SECTION 1: CHAPTER 2 | "A Bundle of Rejected Memories"

A black void. In this black void, resides a kite, confused and scared of where she was. Although she wasn't alone. A purple light casted itself right onto her, prompting her to turn and see another algebralien looking at her with slight awe. The purple algebralien was similar to that of a punctuation; a long, slim upside-down-triangular body with a purple orb where it's legs were.

"...Oh- Hi!" The purple algebralien greeted her, although was met with silence. "..Ugh, was this even the right universe..?"
"...What.. are you talking about?" The kite asked curiously, although still nervous. "Hm?" The purple algebralien looked at the kite with confusion, "You.. don't know what a universe is..? Ah, I'm sure that's something for another day.." It mumbled, before glancing around to see where they were. "Oh, this definitely isn't it.. I thought I'd be back to my contestants by now..-" The mention of "contestants" caught the kite's attention, as she turned towards the purple algebralien with complete curiosity. "You were a show host??"

"Mhm," the purple algebralien began, "It's been around since.. like... A few years perhaps..? I'm not sure, I've lost track of time.." it added, holding its head as it tried to remember what happened. "I'm not exactly sure what happened to basically.. put it into a indefinite hiatus, in a way, I'm still trying to figure that out, but when I come back onto earth, I know I'm going to pick this back up again!"
The kite seemed genuinely interested at this point, going a little closer to the purple algebralien, "..And.. what was the show called?" She asked, leaving the purple algebralien hesitant to reply. "Well.. now that I'm thinking about it, the name is a little embarrassing, but.. it's.. Object NOT Showdown."

"..Object Not Showdown? Where'd you get that from?"
"I have no idea, when I was younger I originally went with just 'Object Showdown' but apparently that name was copyrighted." The purple algebralien shared a chuckle with the kite, before she heard the kite say something she hasn't heard before.

"I think I remember that show.. was only up for a few episodes and even a recasting call, and I was patient for more to come. But.. now that I'm looking back on it now, it's.. I don't think you were fit for running a show at around that time, were you?" She mumbled, the words of concern flying out of her mouth. "..I.. Uhm.. eheh.. probably, probably not.." the purple algebralien laughed it off, while the kite sighed, shaking her head. "I understand.. I understand all of it, you were bad at creations back then but that's why you're here right now, right? How did you even.. go missing in the first place?"

"...Oh. uh.. that's.. again, a story for another time, but listen- I need your help. You're from earth, I assume? Since you know my show and all." The purple algebralien asked, followed from a nod by the kite. "Perfect!! Okay, okay- so, let's.. have a deal. This can benefit our own problems, okay? I'm looking for a way to go back home, and.. whatever your problem is. I was thinking... Maybe, you can give me temporary access of your body.. yeah! Temporary access to your body so that I can finally be on earth.. until I can have my own body. And as for you.. I can.. uh.. quickly try to fix your problem. It's a win-win!! So.. what do you say..?" The purple algebralien held out her arm, a purple aura surrounding her hand.

"Uhm... Sure.." The kite hesitantly took the purple algebralien's hand, letting her pull the kite up.

"...Okay, see you then!!"

The purple algebralien's eyes flashed purple, catching the kite off-guard as she felt the purple algebralien's grasp tighten on her hand. She panicked as she tried to move away until.. she felt it. It was like a electric shock, coursing through her hand to her head, and making her flinch rapidly.
