'~.•°•-9. The Urgent Task-•.•°•.•~'

Start from the beginning

"With all do respect, my queen. The fact of the matter is, I'm not ready to commit to my status as King. Not yet. Plus, tradition says that we'd have to conssumate in order to make our status as King and Queen official."

Freda placed her hand over my knee and nodded "True. Though I do understand how you feel. It perhaps may come off as a rush, not to mention it is a huge responsibility. You only want to make this happen when the time is right. That time is drawing near you know. You can't wait forever. Now what kind of a kingdom would Nilbog be if the hoard has not a king to lead them?"

I turned my attention away to look blankly ahead and respond "Not a very strong one I suppose." Then for a few, allowed my head to sink into thought. I felt myself become overwhelmed with uneasiness, nauseated from the idea of being HER king and the process of making this official. As you may know, I'm not very fond of this horribly wicked individual who is very unfit to be queen.

She's killed quite a few tourists with her cruel tricks, including the younger ones and I tell you, it's not very pleasant to witness. She even killed a few animals that pass by as well, definitely not fun to look at either. They either turn to plant matter or Freda goes to snap their necks with only her bare hands.

I break free to my senses when I hear her speak again, making me draw my sight on Freda.

"Despite that my suggestion came off as hasty, I will grant you some time to think this over. You have the entire day until tomorrow. Your decision will either be a blessing or it'll cost you some consequences, the choice you make, it all comes down to you" she explained then she leans in to place a few soft kisses a pon my lips.

I forced myself to kiss her in return the same manner but it didn't take long for her to pull back. She smirked softly while gently caressing my cheek. "Now remember. Think very thoroughly and choose wisely. I'd hate to have you suffer the consequence over the wrong decision" she warned dangerously.

"Yes your majesty." Was all I could muster up casually.

Every goblin in town was summoned to attend at the manor around the nightfall. They've all gathered together and waited while bracing themselves for the answer. For the queen to determine whether or not this human girl was related to Nilbog's destroyer. That human child from a couple years ago.

Long story short, the Stonehenge magic stone, the ring Freda possesses. It gave us a positive sign that Olivia is related to Nilbog's destroyer.

This made me recall the drawing thy young brother of mine had. I instantly connected the dots within my thoughts.

It's a prophecy.

A prophecy for Dylan and I in attempt to get Olivia and her brother out of here before it's too late for them. The goblins can't know, they mustn't or else me and Dylan will pay a grave price for it.

After this important gathering was over with, I went straight to my young brother.

I whispered sternly "We must make haste quickly. We need to find a way for Olivia, her brother and the rest of these humans to flee this town."

I could see that Dylan tried his best to not come off as concerned. But the dread within his gaze was a give away to me.

"How?......." He whispered back.

"Enter Olivia's dream. Go to her and convince her to leave Nilbog. It's the only way to warn her without being compromised. You only have one shot at this." I quietly responded with serious caution.

Dylan stood there somewhat concerned and taken a back by this idea "You mean dream telepathy?.......Gideon, that ritual normally doesn't do well for me......The last time I've done this, I end up feeling like some nauseous drunkard afterwards. That really sucked....." He whispered like it's impossible.

"That was because you thought it was all fun and games as if it was all some adventurous wonderland......The purpose of this ritual is ONLY for urgent situations and other important matters. So brother, I'm counting on you to deliver this warning to Ms Waits." Gideon demanded.

Clearly my brother knows how serious I am as in response, I watched him nod.

"Alright." Dylan whispered then he asked while scratching his head "So which substance do I have to use again to activate the state of dream telepathy?"

I just stared blankly at my brother due to the fact that the many times I teach him this ritual, he still has not been paying attention in these practices. It gets pretty aggravating for me to repeat myself over and over only for him to not know two simple substances.

I took a quick gander around to see that the manor was almost empty since half the goblins left. And if the queen is the only one in her manor, it would be very risky if I kept this topic on in the Queen's manner. She'll easily over hear our conversation. After all, we goblin's have strong hearing.

So I then ushered Dylan out of the manor, getting out of Freda's sight as far as possible.

Once we were at a far distance at a field outside, I faced my brother. "I had to get us away from Ms Lombard. I wouldn't want to put either of us in jeopardy if we discussed this near her presence."

Then I continued "In order for the dream telepathy to work. The two substances you need to use is essence of Mugwort and Blue Lotus. They are in separate vials. Mix them together properly before you intake"

Dylan nodded willingly "Okay, I got it"

Before I let him be on his way, I smacked him upside the head, causing him to react in such a shocked and confusing manner. "What was that for??....."

I stand there unimpressed due to how irresponsible it was for him to be so forgetful. I replied in a steady but stern tone "Next time, pay attention when it comes to practice of spells. I do not want to repeat myself again."

Dylan would rub his head, clearly bothered from that whack to the head. Though realistically, it was the only way to get through to him. That way he won't be able to forget again. "Okay, okay.....I heard you loud and clear" he said.

"Good. Now run along. Times a wasting" I strongly advised.

From there, Dylan ran along to do his important task while I make way to seek transportation for the humans to flee out of here.
