Sasuke's other available arm came over and was rested carefully on Naruto's arms that laid across his chest, making the blonde wince with surprise but had been expecting some form of reaction. What he wasn't expecting was the arm he had swooped up into wrapped around him, pulling him in closer and more comfortable to say the least. All Naruto could hear was the sound of a heart beat that started well paced to just above the average bpm of someone who just walked a mile. It was filling for the silence that took up the rest of his hearing. Warmth beginning to cave in on him on both sides, his eyes starting to feel heavy and his mind going numb. He was comfortable and even maybe getting tired. "Sorry." Naruto whispered just in time before his eyes started to close, he heard a mumble back and it made his lips curve upwards slightly. "Don't be...Dobe."

Sasuke may have fell back asleep but he surely would not forget this in the morning. It was likely Naruto wouldn't either from what he would assume but it was certain the blonde wouldn't forget either, considering he'd wake up right here beside him.

Just as expected morning came and Sasuke had woke up first, the sun creeped just above the window sill to where it shined down directly into his line of sight. Even with his lids closed it was burning through his skin, making his dreams become oddly bright, thus making them open and realize what time it was. He went to go move and just for a second he felt a weight holding him back before he realized what had happened the night before. It came back just as fast as the incident happened to begin with. In fact he remembered everything that happened. The night out with the guys, Sai, Naruto confessing but also taking it back, and of course the undressing, then the waking up to said such blonde slipping in beside him ever so comfortably on the carpeted floor.

"Hn." It wasn't a hum it was more of an adjustment to waking up kind of sound that he made, his eyes shifting towards the bundle of yellow hair resting on his chest. He couldn't necessarily see his face but he knew what it had to of looked like, the thought making him smirk a little. He gently started to caress the shoulder he had been holding close to him all night, leaning his cheek into the top of Naruto's head. He was embracing the moment, embracing the blonde. It was warm, comforting, and even something he began to crave. It was like nothing in this moment could possibly ruin it. But the later the morning got the likelihood of someone showing up was getting high. Neither could possibly risk another Kiba incident, and he knew that but still, he didn't want to end it just because of someone else seeing and or assuming. So he didn't move, he left it the way it was, maybe it was worth the risk. Maybe even subconsciously Naruto had been thinking the same thing.

A little while passed by and Sasuke was awake for the entirety of it, enjoying every second like it was fine wine. Of course though the Hokage started to wake up, his eyes slowly opening and his conscious coming back quickly, realizing his presence being consumed by his rival, the first cue that tipped that off was Sasuke's scent, that was what he noticed before physically feeling where he had been laying. "Nnngg." His low dry voice smeared through his throat, making a grumble noise, feeling his body tense as if it was getting ready to stretch. He quickly felt a hand gently rub his arm and he couldn't possibly hold back the blush that came over his face but he must of had luck on his side because Sasuke couldn't see it.

"Good morning." The whiskered male said as he nuzzled in closer, keeping his face down against him. "Morning." The voice that came back in return was so gentle, like a feather slowly falling. It made Naruto's insides warm up with that feeling he could only picture as love. His lips began to curl and before he knew it he was smiling. It was true that Sasuke couldn't quite see the blush or the smile, but he could feel his mouth form against his chest. He felt the blondes cheek tighten.

It only took a few more minutes of silence for Naruto to finally adjust himself, placing a hand upon the ravens chest and pushing up. He propped himself up mostly on his elbow and finally gave the Uchiha a look Sasuke would never forget. It wasn't anything special but it was Naruto's and he found that alone in itself unforgettable. "A-About last night..." Just the blonde saying the first half of that sentence gave him the closure he needed to know whether or not he remembered what happened, or better yet what he said. He didn't want to interrupt but he also didn't want him going into a deeper explanation than needed, he already knew it was a drunken mistake and he didn't mean to say it, or least knew he shouldn't have said it.

Any person would be blind if they didn't see how they were right now and thought there wasn't some kind of feelings here, whether it be mutual or not there was clearly something. But hat didn't mean the Hokage loved him, that was just false hope. Their eyes locked heavily and Sasuke only relaxed into the floor letting him continue. The face he was giving was one of misfortune, he looked at Naruto almost giving away the fact he was expecting bad news.

"I'm...I'm sorry that I said that while completely hammered. Th-That was a mistake." That same flush of rose trickled over his marked face again, except this time Sasuke DID see it, it was clear as day. Either it was embarrassment or Naruto was about to say something more leaning towards what Sasuke really wanted to hear. His eyes opened just a little further as those blue ones looked away. "It would...mean more if I was sober right?...You said..." There it was again that pause in his words that gave Sasuke the anxiousness he was so good at pushing away, patience running thin waiting for him to just say a solid sentence. "When I'm sober I can think about what to tell Hinata...and I think you're right but..." His beautiful eyes turned again and met Sasuke's.

"At no point at all last night did I think that I was being rash with my words...I meant what I said...And I'll say it again." It was definitely embarrassing the position Naruto was in but he was being completely upfront and honest with him. Ideally this isn't how he projected his confession to be but neither was last nights attempt. Kuruma was right about not doing it drunk, but that was Naruto's fault for slipping up the way he did. If he wasn't so intoxicated he probably would've waited a little bit longer but liquor leads to open mouths, which lead to words being said and that's exactly what happened. But right now was different, he was fully awake and extremely sober, he definitely felt a little sick but that was beside the point.

"Naruto..." That voice, that gentle delicate and caring voice. It tingled the blondes heart, made him really feel like he mattered, more than just a person but soul and all. Sasuke started to stiffen up a bit as he pushed to sit up, both of them adjusting and being still very close together. Their eyes hadn't parted this time and the look in the ravens eyes deepened, his expression getting more intense, this is what made Naruto's palms clammy. He understands why it was easier to say this drunk because now he's scared shitless.

     "I-...I love you...and I'm certain on that."
