(Nikas POV)
Halfway into the movie, I feel Hailey's head fall onto my shoulder and I look at her and smile at the sight while everyone is focusing on the screen.
I didn't want to wake her up so I just moved my arm to be around her shoulder so she could be warm.
After a while, everyone left after a few movies. It was just me and Paige and were just sitting and talking quietly while Hailey was still asleep on me.
"You can tell she trusts you, Nika," Paige says.
"I never want to hurt her I love her but I don't think she loves me back," I say.
I look down to see Hailey's face.
"Oh she does she's just in denial but she will come around it's just her heart was shattered a few months ago," Paige says.
"How?" I ask.
"When she was deciding between Uconn and Iowa she was dating Caitlin at the time. Let's just say Caitlin ditched her for a new girl." Paige says.
I frown at the thought of Hailey's heart breaking like that and I pull her a little closer.
"I would never hurt her," I say.
"I know she just needs some time and when she's ready she will go for you trust me im going to make sure of it she's so stubborn," Paige says.
