The aggressive sound of beeping roused both of us from our gentle slumber with a jump
Lexie, being in front of me, grabbed the pager that had so rudely awoken us
"Yours" she said before throwing her head back onto the pillow in front of me in the cutest way possible
"Fuck 911 I need to go" I said before gently climbing over her
I pushed a stray hair off her tired face kissed her on the forehead
"See you later darling" I said in a hushed voice and was met with a coy smile
Before i could get too distracted I ran off to where my presence was requested
*** Lexie POV***
I turned onto my back and sighed at the lack of warmth to my side
I searched the wall for a clock and realised it was almost the end of my shift
Reluctantly, i stood up and fixed up my scrubs before leaving the on call room
The door behind me shut with a a click
I looked around to see if anyone saw, for my eyes to meet a pair of tall green eyes
"Hello Dr Montgomery" I said with an innocent smile
"Hey Dr Grey?" She said with a smirk
"Do you need anything?" I asked slightly confused by her smirk
"No, no. Just tell Dr Sloan I say hi"
Blood rushed to my cheeks immediately as I tried to get a word out but just ended a stuttering mess
"It's ok, it's not obvious. Let's just say I saw her state this morning." She said with a proud grin
I chuckled, slightly relieved but embarrassed
"Just.. don't hurt her feelings, alright?"
I nodded
"Alright you should get going, it's almost the end of your shift right?"
"Yeah... it is" I said stroking the back of my neck
"Bye" I said in a slightly awkward way before walking off to the locker room

I swung open the door to my locker in the lonely room
It seems as though everyone else has already left, so at least no one will see the state of my love bite covered body
I lifted the scrub top over my body and threw it back into my locker before grabbing the grey shirt i wore earlier
I felt a presence behind me so i turned to the side to see a a very familiar face
"Enjoying the show?" I ask with a smirk
Y/N giggles and walks closer to me to lean on the lockers but not before planting a kiss on my forehead
"It's like you're stalking me today. Leave me alone weirdo" I said with a smile, showing her I was kidding
"No" she said with a big smile then held my face with both her hands and kissed me sweetly on the lips
She moved back to her place leaning on the lockers
"I would invite you over to my place but I'm on call all night. Maybe tomorrow?"
